The General Office Assistant provides clerical and facility support to all internal and external customers as well as vendors, while performing a variety of general office tasks.
Responsibilities
* Answer phone, greet and direct customers or vendors, maintain daily return to work log
* Maintain a current vendor list
* Serve as a liaison between UEI and vendors for facilities and office repairs
* Maintain Facilities Inbox - respond timely to requests, schedule workers for projects around office
* Manages office equipment, inventory of office and kitchen supplies, ordering such needed items
* Maintains conference room(s) appearance and assists with meeting preparations
* Facilitate and create multiple shipping labels/picks up for FedEx, UPS for our multiple office locations
* Daily mail pick-up, sort and deliver to appropriate department
* Deliver shipment packages at end of day to appropriate shipping location (i.e. UPS/FedEx store)
* Makes copies, scanning of correspondence or other printed materials, when needed
* Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department when needed
Qualifications
* Previous office experience and knowledge of shipping and receiving
