Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Provide exceptional customer service.
This includes but is not limited to assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle.
Determine the priority of deliveries including the most timely and efficient route, when not directed by a manager or counterperson.
Receive and process orders and other documents by reviewing for completeness and clarity before delivery.
Maintain a clean and well running delivery vehicle by performing routine maintenance and inspections.
Ability to safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions.
Maintain a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts.
Handle cash and credit transactions.
Help answer telephone and wait on customers.
Work store inventory/assist in other location's inventory, if assigned.
Maintain a clean facility inside and outside.
This includes but is not limited to sweep, mop, pick up trash, straighten and dust shelves, rearrange stock, etc.
Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager.
All other job duties as assigned.

Demonstrate courteous, respectful, and kind conduct toward every employee and customer.
Cooperate and coordinate well with coworkers and as a team member.
Perform job duties in compliance with legal, regulatory, and Company safety guidelines, practices, and policies.
Maintain neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Provide exceptional customer service including assisting in determining parts needed, offering options to solve customer problems, and diffusing situations involving an upset or dissatisfied customer.
Research part's availability through computer and catalogs for stock numbers, inventory status, and pricing.
Locate and pull parts for orders, check in, put up, straighten, dust, and rearrange stock as needed on the sales floor and back rooms/warehouse.
Handle cash and credit transactions; properly invoice/credit customer accounts.
Prioritize the order of delivery items and assign deliveries to drivers, if applicable.
Correctly handle new and defective core returns from customers, insure proper customer credit and complete necessary paperwork.
Open and/or close the store if given key holder responsibility.
Work home store inventory/assist in other location's inventory, if assigned. Clean (pick-up trash, sweep, mop, etc.) and maintain inside and outside of building area. Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
