Telehealth General Neurologist
Neura Health
Remote general pediatrician job
At Neura Health, we are constantly looking for clinicians who want to work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and some of the hardest problems in healthcare. We look for providers who are well-versed in the evidence-based treatment of neurological disorders, and who are empathetic, compassionate, mission-driven, collaborative, and results-oriented.
Please note that Neura is not currently hiring for this role, however, if you'd like to put in an application to be considered for a future role, please apply below. One of our team members will reach out to you once we have an opening.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and examine patients with any neurological complaints, provide them with a diagnosis and care plan that will help guide them toward their health goals across diet, exercise, stress management, sleep, and more.
Review labs and imaging that are appropriate for patient care
Provide follow-up appointments with patients on a regular basis to adjust medications.
Provide chat-based support to patients going through difficult journeys
Generate educational content in support of our online blogs and content library
Requirements:
ABPN certification or eligibility in Neurology
Soft skills: listening, negotiating, decision-making, and leadership.
Culture fit: empathic, mission-driven, collaborative, precise, transparent, compassionate, and results-oriented.
Compensation & Hours:
Must be available for 8 hours per week to start, with the ability to increase hours
Hourly rate: $160/hr for appointments and cancellations not made within 12 hours
Neura offers our contract physicians equity so the total package is above market.
Once providers reach 8 hours/week, they will receive a standard equity grant, subject to our typical vesting schedule.
Based on performance, providers will have the option to receive an annual rate increase with Neura's standard performance review process. Similar to the entire company, raises and bonuses are contingent on individual and company performance. This year, a major goal is our Series A raise and the financial metrics that come with it.
Clinician performance factors in:
Provider ratings and clinical quality
Ease of collaboration with operations and concierge team, including policies like:
Giving operations team a 4 weeks notice on changes in weekly availability
Availability - where the provider stands against targets
Thoroughness of clinical documentation
Completion of handoff forms at or near 100%
To be eligible for these raises, providers must commit to a minimum of 8 hours/week on the Neura Health platform.
Licenses
Neura pays for licenses that it asks providers to get for Neura use. This includes regular prescription licenses and DEA licenses.
Per our contract language, 25 visits or more must be done using this license. Otherwise, the money for the license is due back to Neura.
Neura also pays a one-time payment of 4 hours to compensate the physician for the time it takes to complete paperwork for additional licenses.
If paperwork is not completed within a 1 week time frame of request, physician will forfeit payment.
Neura provides a $500 stipend for CME and other education needs.
This requires 6 months of longevity at Neura.
About Neura Health:
Brick-and-mortar neurology clinics often face overwhelming patient demand, leading to long wait times. Nationwide, the wait to see a neurologist is 4-6 months. This delay in care can be especially critical for patients with progressive neurological conditions, where timely intervention is essential. The traditional model struggles to keep pace with growing needs, leaving many without access to the specialized care they urgently require.
Neura Health is building the nation's largest virtual neurology practice, as well as an all-in-one place for patients to manage their longitudinal disease journeys. We're redefining the future of neurology through cutting-edge technology, compassionate care, and a relentless commitment to better outcomes. By combining advanced data analytics and AI-assisted diagnostics, we're enabling earlier detection, personalized treatment, and continuous monitoring for neurological conditions such as chronic headaches, chronic pain, epilepsy, memory disorders, and more.
With over $22M in backing from world-class investors, Neura is on a mission to revolutionize neurology care. We are serving a massive market (over 145m Americans have neurological issues) that is deeply underserved. Our mission is to assure access and quality of care for neurologic conditions. If you're driven by purpose and excited to shape the future of brain health, we invite you to be part of our transformative journey.
