What You Will Do:
This role encompasses the staffing, supervision, direction, training and evaluation of an assigned production team. Directs and controls multiple production operation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DIFFICULTY OF WORK:
Thorough knowledge of line construction and maintenance methods and procedures, including advanced principles and methods.
Extensive education and experience dealing with all facets of electrical distribution and transmission, typically acquired via a college education or equivalent experience in the field.

Progressive experience in engineering, architecture, construction, industrialized buildings or related fields.
An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production/construction environment.
Previous supervisory experience.
Experience with, and ability to effectively use, various systems including Microsoft Office Products,
Preferred Education and Experience
5+ years of experience in residential, modular and/or multifamily construction.
Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
Role will be located in an indoor factory environment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
* Resource Requirements: Assure the proper resources are in place to administer the production schedule to deliver quality products on the customer request date while constantly striving for improved utilization of available resources
* Equipment Requirements: Help in determining new equipment and facility requirements; Ensure effective and efficient operation
* Work with the manufacturing engineers to produce production layouts and capacity requirements to meet the production objectives
* Labor Requirements: Ensure the hiring and retention of production team members to facilitate the accomplishments of SMC's goals; This includes the negotiation of compensation with the new hire candidates.

* Inventory: Responsible for maintenance, accuracy, and condition of parts used in production
