Job Description What our Production Supervisor will do: * Lead and supervise a team of production workers, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback, including engaging in corrective action conversations, to insure a safe working environment. * Strategically plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet set targets and deadlines, including strict adherence to established production centerlines. * Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless production operations. * Enforce and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Arils manufacturing processes, ensuring uniformity and adherence to quality standards. * Monitor and uphold the functionality of equipment, proactively initiating maintenance or repairs as necessary * Effectively manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to guarantee uninterrupted production. * Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, cultivating a safety-aware culture within the production team, along with collaborating with Quality control team to ensure the production of high-quality products. * Observes and enforces safety, GMPs, and Food safety programs and attends appropriate training sessions. * Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency in the production process. * Maintain precise production records and reports for review of upper management review regarding comprehensive performance tracking and data-driven decision-making. * Manage the Arils facility FMDS (floor management development systems) board and conduct daily meetings. * Collaborate with the sanitation lead to identify key cleaning areas and implement enhancements to sanitation procedures. * Assess required workforce and develop a labor model aligned with production requirements. Qualifications Skills & experience that are necessary as our Production Supervisor will include, but not limited to: * Possesses a broad business perspective while being willing to actively engage in tasks to ensure completion. * Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to provide support and guidance to employees at all levels. * Professional communication skills. * Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meeting deadlines. * Efficient and effective performance in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Flexible and adaptable. * Proven problem-solving and conflict management skills. * Ability to think creatively and innovatively. * Proficient in analysis and effective communication of results, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle software. * Capable of managing and executing directives. * Quick problem-solving abilities with innovative approaches to maintaining production. * Skilled in gathering, summarizing, and reporting KPIs accurately and effectively. * Consistently works on improving performance, problem-solving, and facilitation skills. * Implements a team mentality and works to overcome roadblocks. * Demonstrates leadership and confidence at all times. * Able to mentor subordinates for successful outcomes, providing discipline when necessary. * Collaborates with support and customer teams to resolve conflicts and problems. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: At least 2-4 years progressively responsible Production experience in a supervisory capacity, with a specific emphasis in manufacturing preferably within a production/manufacturing setting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
