Responsible to the plant manager, daily report of workshop indicator operation and management;
Arranging workshop internal production according to production orders;
Implementing workshop contingency plans in case of sudden emergencies;
Responsible for supervision and inspection of each station's pre-production preparations, labor discipline, work quality, production safety, and compliance of employees with the major operating instructions.
Responsible for workshop production quality and cost, controlling workshop indicators to meet the company requirements;
Responsible for implementing company management rules, briefing production, quality, and labor discipline;
Responsible for organizing analysis and improvement of difficult problems, tracking the performance, and feeding back;
Responsible for organizing statistical analysis and developing improvement measures, and tracking performance in case of indicator abnormalities in production;
Responsible for coordinating workshop daily routine and completing workshop inventory;
Responsible for developing and organizing workshop employee post training and transfer training, and multi-post development plans, and tracking the implementation results;
Responsible for monitoring the implementation of 6s and SECURITY of workshop posts, maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe working environment;
Participating in various activities to improve and solve problems to improve quality, eliminate waste, and reduce costs;
Positively understanding and monitoring all workshop environmental factors, risk factors, hazards, and their control methods;
Familiar with and supervising workshop material safety data sheets;
Other duties as assigned

The Team Leader is responsible for managing the Group Leaders and shift team members
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS
* Lead the shift team to deliver Safety, Quality, Cost, Production and Engagement results.
* Ensure all people follow all safety and quality standards.
* Lead the shift handover and participate in weekly reviews.
* Support equipment owners towards completing AM step 3.
* Ensure CIL completion and compliance during the shift.
* Build a culture that ensures all standards are followed.
* Managing and coaching Group Leaders, Equipment Owners and Production Associates. Responsible for setting goals and providing regular feedback.
* Lead and Develop Equipment Owners and production associates' performance review with support from Group Leaders.
* Lead the Group leader's and production associates education and training development process (skills vs skill matrices and step-up cards)
* Coach equipment owners and production associates in their education and training and development needs and progress vs. skill matrices and step-up cards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Basic Qualifications:
* HS degree or GED; BA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain Operations, Food Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
* 3 years supervisory experience in a food-processing, pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing organization, preferred.
* 2 years Food Manufacturing experience (Minimum).
* Working knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures and HACCP (Preferable).
* Demonstrated understanding of production scheduling and other production variables such as run-rates, processing times, change-over times, etc.
* Demonstrated knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include product and associate safety, OSHA standards, product quality (success rates), throughput delivery and cost control (minimizing downtime and waste, optimizing yield).
* Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work.
* Demonstrated mechanical and spatial aptitude, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to formulate and understand complex mathematical equations.
* Ability to document and measure results.
* Proficient using Excel or other spreadsheet software.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for implementing best practices and standards for product and process to promote efficient production of consistent quality bread or roll products. This position has direct responsibility of ensuring all work activities under its span of control are performed with attention to the highest standards of food quality, safe processes, compliance with all appropriate legal requirements and a focus on continuous process improvement.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement company standards for formulas, scaling weights, pan sizes, bag sizes, bake times, and all production control processes for bread and roll products
Train, coach, oversee, provide feedback and assess Production staff and overall bakery production performance
Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop others, and strategically plan for continuous improvement
Ability to plan and coordinate use of manpower, ingredients and equipment to ensure efficient production of consistent quality products
Direct resources of plant and equipment toward the most efficient production of baked goods
Implement best practices to achieve company standards on controllable costs
Promote safety through work procedures, and employee safety programs
Ability to trouble shoot equipment to ensure optimum product quality is achieved
Ensure that consistent quality product is provided to Sales on a timely basis
Evaluate product quality to ensure compliance with established standards
Collaborative and able to build/maintain partnering relationships with other departments
Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a high speed manufacturing environment required
1-2 years of High Speed Bread and or Roll experience highly preferred
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a supervisor position
Understands the unique equipment in a large scale bakery production plant, along with operation of that equipment relative to the baking process
Solid understanding in the functionality of ingredients with time and temperature in the baking process
Basic computer skills, Excel, Word, ect….
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Union management experience is strongly desired
Completion of American Institute of Baking (AIB) in-residence baking science and technology course and AIB Science of Baking correspondence course strongly desired (NOT A MUST)
Knowledge of BRC & BSCI standards is highly preferred
