Author, approve, and/or review all area quality and safety exceptions and investigation reports. Ensure on time completion of all corrective action items assigned to area.
Manage the department's overtime and ensure that all payroll exception reports are completed and submitted on time.
Measure and communicate team's progress against individual, team, site goals, and KPIs.
Spend 70% of your time on the production floor directly with employees and processes.
Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, DEA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).
Ensure all direct reports are properly trained in areas directly related to their job responsibilities as well as company policies, quality policies, and safety/environmental policies.
Conduct Production Team meetings as well as 1-on-1 coaching sessions with employees in the department.
Requirements/Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field required. Work experience considered in lieu of degree.
Ten or more years of relevant work experience required, including experience in a cGMP environment required, preferably in manufacturing.
Two or more years of supervisory experience is required.
Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma experience preferred.
Experience working with High Performance Teams.
Coaching & Implementing Autonomous Maintenance activities.
Experience with developing/documenting procedures required.
Aseptic and/or terminal sterilization processing experience.
Prior experience leading projects and/or being a core team member.

Summary:
The Production Superintendent directs and coordinates, through direct report supervisory personnel, manufacturing activities utilizing knowledge of product function, production methods, procedures, and capabilities at Indiana Packers Corporation.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products consistent with effective operations and cost factors.
* Create and foster a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards by treating all team members with dignity and respect.

Requirements:

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

Strong track record of implementing operations Continuous Improvement using lean tools such as Value Stream Maps, 5S, Standard Work, Kanban, Single Piece Flow, Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Production Preparation Process (3P), Strategy Deployment, Visual Management, and Daily Management

Solicit new business from Home Builders and Realtors.
Originate new loans in accordance with the “Loan Officer” agreement, signed at the time of employment, to ensure all loans meet the guidelines of the Products and Policies manual.
Be accessible to the buyers and associates and return calls in the same day.
Build rapport with and maintain open lines of communication with borrowers, builders and realtors.
Conduct initial mortgage application interview with borrowers.
Assist in the pre-application process and follow-up with sales office on incomplete applications.
Deliver the pre-qualification status to the communities and call with verbal status as required.
Travel to communities to meet with borrowers and obtain loan applications.
Package loans for upfront submission.
Lock all loans with the borrowers in accordance with the Secondary Marketing Pricing and Rate Lock Policies and Procedures manual.
Compile any missing data on the loan application, i.e., lot number, address, plan type, incentive, delivery time, etc
Maintain reports to ensure complete exchange of information regarding loan status, monthly projected closings, commission, and expense reports
Conduct weekly “Pipeline” meetings with processor(s) and keep the lines of communication open
Requirements
Three years mortgage lending experience: originating, processing, closing and underwriting FHA/VA/Conventional loans
At least one year in a full-charge supervisory/management capacity
Ability to maintain flexible work schedule, including evening and weekend work
Four-year college degree (preferred)
Valid driver's license
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
