What you'll do:

Who you are:
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management (Engineering preferred - Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Science) or equivalent experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing supervisory experience including involvement and knowledge of operations, supply chain, planning, receiving, shipping, and material flow
Basic knowledge of accounting and financial practices in an operations/manufacturing environment and familiarity leading and facilitating lean manufacturing Kaizen events
Experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA, or otherwise)

* Ensures that the purchasing, when needed, and the preparation of all food products meet CNE's standards of quality and consistency.
* Supervises all line set-up, prep, and breakdown activities. Responsible for in-service delegation of tasks to Grill/Café personnel.
* Monitors production of food preparation ensuring recipe specifications, portion controls and kitchen timings are met.
* Monitors all food served relative to appearance, temperature, sanitary and quality standards.
* Assists Grill Manager with end of month item inventory, as needed or requested.
* Ensures compliance with health, sanitation, safety and employment regulations by clearly communicating and reinforcing standardsand procedures to Grill/Café employees.
* Coordinates the storage, maintenance, and repair of all kitchen equipment to ensure operational readiness.
* Assists with the delivery and set-up of catered services and food service areas as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The Grill Supervisor is regularly required to stand or sit in a stationary position for half or more of their shift, communicate, and exchange
Information with coworkers and guests, and maintain the Grill/Cafe area and personnel. The Grill Supervisor must reach with hands and
arms, sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Grill Supervisor is regularly required to do light lifting of objects up to
75 pounds. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of
day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The Grill Supervisor must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and
holidays in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.
The Grill Supervisor may be exposed to the risks associated with resolving contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.
