RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the Project Manager to understand and execute the scope of work.
Assist with the daily planning and activity at the project site.
Ensures crews have the equipment and material needed to perform work.
Ensures the quality of work being performed meets the highest standards of workmanship based on
industry standards.
Has awareness of the safety and protection of building occupants and workers on the site at all times.
Completes inspections of work progress and verifies completion.
Communicate clearly with the Project Manager, Project Director, and customer regarding any current and relevant project conditions, as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of restoration industry experience (water, fire, mold) is preferred
Previous supervisory experience is preferred
Understanding of MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
Maintains a valid and current driver's license; CDL a plus
Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening

* Firm understanding of manufacturing production, machinery, stock management, and production models
* Strong communication, troubleshooting/problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills
* Ability to direct production employees in a proactive and positive manner
* Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a strong sense of urgency

Compensation Data
The base salary range for this position is $65,000- $99,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

**Role Definition**
Oversees and coordinates the activities of a more complex production line, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Creating reports and records of production processes, tools issues performance, and inventory; sharing them with managers and providing suggestions to improve safety, productivity and quality.
+ Preparing, maintaining, and updating documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards; ensuring all processes and products meet desired safety and quality standards.
+ Supervising and directing the daily activities of production lines workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.
+ Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

The 1st Shift Production Supervisor position is responsible for managing the facility workload while training, monitoring employee's performance and adherence to policy. This position is responsible for meeting the customer needs in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
Primary Job Duties:
* Ensures finished material is accurately documented and accounted for.
* Meets Customer Production and Delivery. Insures workforce is within production standards for efficiency. Provides staff with sufficient work, insures employees are proficiently performing and adhering to benchmarked deadlines.
* Responsible for management of workforce. Responsible for detailed account of production labor hours captured.
* Responsible for training and development of workforce. Accomplished via effective and constant communication during work shifts and company review process.
* Maintains a safe working environment (by practicing safe measures, investing in conversations about safe practices and reviewing safe job procedures).
* Improves Shop Efficiency, Productivity and Employee Engagement by working collaboratively, thinking creatively and providing innovative suggestions.
* Works efficiently to achieve or exceed performance targets for velocity, quality and cost.
* Understands and follows all ISO and 5S initiatives.
* Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Advanced computer skills, Microsoft office
* Minimum of three (3) years related, verifiable experience.
* Supervisor in production, warehouse, manufacturing/assembly/3PL environment.
* Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Previous experience operating counterbalance sit down forklift and Order Picker.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
* Master's Degree and Supply Chain, Logistics, APICS, Lean, and/or Six Sigma certifications desired
* Experience in a World Class environment serving Fortune 500 customers is preferred
* Some tools used to accomplish these goals include Inventory and Materials Management Best Practices, Lean and Six Sigma techniques, value stream mapping, standard work/process engineering, cross-functional deployment maps, multi-generational project plans, and key performance indicator scorecards
* Ten years' experience in Manufacturing & 3PL environments.
* Five years' experience supervising employees.
