We are looking for a Production Supervisor in Hull, Iowa.
Oversee and supervise the daily operations of all production and packaging lines and systems.
Perform the daily tasks of certain Sanitation positions based on the Plant Regulatory reports issued on an as needed basis.
Completion of Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) documents in preparation for audits with daily sign-off if required, providing appropriate information to Quality Assurance as required. Follow-up on any audit items as needed.

Serve as Manager on Duty during scheduled events.

**Summary**

The Production Supervisor ensures the staff achieves required production and quality standards in a safe manner, and for promoting and maintaining positive working relationships with the production group. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Ensure products are run in the proper order, products are completed on time, products are rotated properly, all detection equipment is operating as it should, all packaging materials are tracked and ordered when needed.
+ Meets all facility operational plans, yield, throughput, maximum line efficiency, and quality requirements are met.
+ Ensures processes are in place to continuously reduce turnover, improve safety results as measured by the Safety Scorecard, and create the environment that will make the facility the Employer of Choice in the area.
+ Ensures processes are in place to continually provide training to improve the skill set of the hourly production associates to maximize the results of individual and team efforts.
+ Consistently develops new ideas and methods to improve operational performance and improve product quality and customer reliability.
+ Supports and promotes the company's annual People, Products, and Profitability goals through effective planning, communication, emphasizing the requirement for all team members to be efficient and effective in their respective responsibilities.
+ Responsible for monitoring / signing off on associate's timecards, monitoring breaks to ensure associates are back on the floor within the allotted windows, and disciplinary actions when needed.
**Minimum Education**
+ Associates degree in Business Administration/Management, Agriculture or related discipline.
+ 6 to 10 years of related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
**Experience Requirements**
+ Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record demonstrating ability to lead people and get results.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Ability to think ahead and plan ahead over a 1 to 3 year time span.
+ Ability to develop, organize, deploy, and complete multiple protocols/projects on schedule.
+ Strong analysis and problem-solving skills at the strategic and functional levels.
+ Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization; possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
+ Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office.
+ Must be able to travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and/or company business.
**Experience Preferred**
+ Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred but not required.
**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements**
+ May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
+ May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
When in plant environment:
+ Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
+ May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
+ May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
+ May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
+ May be exposed to all chemicals used in pork, food, processing facility.
+ Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
+ Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
