Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in business, logistics, management, or similar, or at least 2 years of experience in the logistics warehouse, inventory field, plus demonstrated management qualifications
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
* Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations

What You Will Do

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen events.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for departmental staff.
What You Need to be Successful
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and production planning.
Previous experience in a supervisory or lead position preferred, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams across multiple departments.
Proficiency with computer applications such as Office 365 Application Suite and ERP systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production reports.
Experience or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, or Kaizen considered an asset.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to decision-making.
Physical requirements:
Regularly lift up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and work at heights.
Exposure to vibration and moving mechanical parts is common.

Oversees designated department(s) of the linen plant and ensures operations is efficient while maintain
productivity and quality standards.
Essential Functions:
Schedules workflow for his/her department
Supervises work activities and ensures productio n standards and efficiencies for their designated department(s)
Tracks and reports hours worked for departmental employees
Sets up the department 30 minutes prior to startup and stays 30 minutes after to cleanup and to submit the
production reports
Monitors and controls quality program
Coordinates and assists in loading of washers, dryers, linen carts, conveyors, and preps linen carts for employees
Trains employees and prepares reports for his/her department
Maintains a working knowledge of all equipment and reports any equipment breakdowns or suspected concerns

Communicates and coordinates department functions with the shift manager and plant manager
May be responsible for final lock lock-up and security of their assigned department
Ensures subordinates practice safety procedures, regulations, and any other procedures that may pertain to the
