Work is governed by USDA, FDA, FSMA, HACCP, and customer audit requirements, with regular inspections and audits.
Must respond quickly to equipment issues, quality deviations, staffing shortages, and production interruptions.
Time is split between office work (planning, reporting, meetings) and hands-on presence on the production floor to oversee operations and staff.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed primarily in a fresh-cut produce processing facility, including production floors, wash lines, cutting rooms, packaging areas, and cold storage.
Typically works afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts to support second shift (PM) production schedules. Extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production demands.
Regular exposure to refrigerated environments (approximately 34°F-45°F), moisture, and humidity to maintain food safety and product quality.
Required to follow strict food safety, sanitation, and GMP standards, including wearing hair nets, beard covers, gloves, smocks, safety footwear, and other PPE.
Works in a high-output production setting with tight schedules, perishability constraints, and real-time decision-making.
Moderate to high noise levels due to processing equipment, conveyors, washers, and packaging machinery.
Frequent interaction with QA, maintenance, sanitation, warehouse, logistics, and line supervisors to ensure smooth PM operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on production floors, including wet or refrigerated environments.
Ability to frequently move throughout the facility, including production areas, cold rooms, packaging lines, and warehouses.

Responsibilities
Assigning repair work to technicians and supervising the workflow to complete vehicle repairs within specific target dates
Provide daily supervision and direction to all production staff members

Schedule all sublet work in a timely manner

Monitor work quality and provide day-to-day feedback and coaching to technician staff creating a team environment for both body & paint.
