    The Production Supervisor will provide direction and focus to a manufacturing Team to meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. Production Supervisor Accountabilities Production: * Lead a team of hourly employees to support the Business; * Drive daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer commitments with perfect quality and on time delivery; * Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans; * Work with Engineering and customer management to identify root causes and solve quality issues; * Provide input to Engineering on new product introduction; * Responsible for end to end ownership of WO process post kit complete for area assigned; * Ensure compliance and evolution of safety and health procedures; * Act as liaison between necessary teams to achieve a desired outcome; * Optimize and monitor resource allocation and utilization; * Ensure equipment is available and scheduled for preventative maintenance; Communicate job expectations; planning; Monitor, results and job results; Coach, counsel and discipline employees; own employee performance management process; Enforce systems, policies, and procedures. * Responsible for employee time and attendance, maintaining and approving timecards, time-off requests and absenteeism concerns; * Develop good working relationships with the management team, peers and customers; * Implement and maintain 5S throughout the facility; * Participate in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities for employees; * Ensure optimal coaching and staff development to achieve company objectives * Ensure production team is provided with necessary training opportunities Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or combination of equivalent experience Minimum Experience: 4-5 years experience in operations, equivalent leadership role running manufacturing operations. Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience Computer Skills * Intermediate Microsoft Word skills as evidenced by the ability to perform all of the basic functions as well as create moderately complex documents containing tables and graphs, and ability to mail merge documents, apply page setup functions (margins, page numbers, footers, headers), create an index and/or table of contents, use search & replace, print labels and envelopes. * Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills as evidenced by the ability to perform all of the basic functions as well as the ability to use workbooks, link data, create and edit charts, change page orientation, add headers and footers, filter and sort lists, format data, insert rows, enter and sort data and produce graphs and charts. * Intermediate Microsoft Powerpoint skills as evidenced by the ability to apply all of the basic skills as well as use and print notes, changing color schemes, changing fonts, bullets, slide backgrounds; adding a table, changing a slide layout, adding a chart, creating organizational charts, and search & replace.
