Summary:
Reporting to the Post Supervisor, the Security Officer is a vital team member providing security services to various clients of GSSC. The Security Officer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks per the needs of the client, which includes enforcing required security policies and procedures, monitoring alarm systems, maintaining access control for visitors and employees and providing interior and exterior foot patrols of common areas of assigned facilities, parking areas, parking ramps, and adjacent lots.

Summary:
The Install Manager provides hands-on leadership and strategic oversight for the installation department within the Electronics Protection Group (EPG) Division at General Security Services Corporation (GSSC). Security Service Technician Job Responsibilities:

Services Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm System
Ability to program all GSSC systems
Tests all equipment and verifies signals to ensure proper performance of systems.
Educates and trains customers on system operation and functionality of systems

Security Service Technician Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
2 years of experience in the commercial security field specific to service of equipment, including Access Control, CCTV, Networking, Wireless Intrusion, Wired Intrusion and Fire Alarm Systems
Required to be punctual to required work locations and complete scheduled service calls in a timely manner
Working knowledge of UL certification requirements, testing, documentation and service
Associate degree required or 2+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read Blueprints and utilize manufacturer manuals and technical support
Ability to be on the On-Call rotation throughout the year including a minimum of one holiday per year, one week at a time (number of weeks within a year are dependent on the number of individuals in the rotation) You will receive extra pay for weeks you are on call.
