This role is responsible for managing Install Department staff including Install Technicians, Project Coordinators, and Project Managers to ensure timely, high-quality system installations, project profitability, and exceptional client experiences. The Install Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Monitors and analyzes KPIs, client satisfaction metrics, and operational benchmarks to evaluate team performance. Provides direct support to Project Managers, Install Technicians, and other install staff, ensuring technical accuracy and operational efficiency. Recruits, trains, and retains top installation team members, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth. Drives interdepartmental collaboration with sales, engineering, and service teams to ensure seamless client handoffs and lifecycle support. Ensures fiscal responsibility of the department including revenue generation and cost containment, analyzes variances from budget, and takes corrective actions. Ensures accurate project information is maintained in company shared files and systems. Partners with sales to create proactive plans for projects resources and execution based on sales pipeline and forecast. Conducts follow-ups with clients to ensure they are satisfied with their experience with GSSC's install department. Leads the post-project review process, working with engineering and sales to improve processes and institutional knowledge. Manages assigned vendor relationships. All other duties as assigned. Install Manager Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in service, logistics, or operations, or a bachelor's degree. 1+ year of supervisory experience. Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Ability to follow GSSC corporate values. Experience in Project Management including cost/schedule management, risk management, and managing project performance. Must pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of related experience in a similar leadership role within a service function. MN Power Limited Technician (PLT) License.
