Treat Abdominal and Thoracic Aneurysmal Disease, Carotid Disease, Hemodialysis Access, Peripheral Vascular Disease and Limb Salvage
Manage conditions with medications, lifestyle changes and non-surgical interventions
Call coverage for ten night/weekend shifts per month
Schedule: includes (2) clinic days and (3) procedural days - Vascular Surgery
Supervise advanced practitioner(s)
Educate patients and promote wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials, resources, and services to patients and their families
Maintain responsive, open communication with referring physicians
Participate in department, college, medical center and other service activities
Serve as preceptor and train residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students, nursing staff and other allied health medical professionals
The clinical faculty track exists for those faculty members whose principal career focus is teaching, clinical and translational research, delivery of exemplary clinical care and contribution to all college missions.
The title for these appointments are Assistant/Associate/Professor. These faculty are typically, but not exclusively, physicians, and they must have a paid faculty appointment.
