That was the original house of Generations Group, which opened in 1991.
Generations was founded in 1992 by David and Pat Gaither and had as its’ primary business focus providing housing and assisted living for the elderly.
As time went by, the decision was made to provide mental health services within the company’s non-profit branch (GHA). Generations Mental Health Center of Morrison was established and began operations in July 2002.
Generations opened its first Mental Health Center in East TN at Dayton in late 2013.
Gaither’s, Inc. (which left the Generations umbrella in 2016) and Generations Gaither’s, Inc. were established as for-profit corporate entities which originally contracted out for ancillary mental health services to support their houses.
