High volume and fast paced position in which the associate will assemble various products with an opportunity to train and operate multiple pieces of equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Operation of equipment to laminate fabric to various substrates
* Finish panel skins with back-wrapping operations
* Assemble components into finished product
* Pack finished product for shipment and label for shipment
* Keep accurate records of jobs performed
* Wand product information into computerized inventory system
* Transport stock to and from work area
* Mark job loads with order number
* Inspect produced parts for quality and quantity
* Requisition supplies as needed
* Work from verbal or written instructions
* May be required to pack units for shipment
* Plan jobs to be most efficient

Participates in standard job rotations. Perform job rotation with team members to insure proper standardized work and ergonomic safety.

Perform all duties according to safety policies and procedures

Performs all 5S housekeeping tasks in appropriate areas. Works to ensure work area is maintained in a clean, orderly and safe condition at all times. Completes all regularly scheduled 5S checks. Immediately alerts team member and team coordinators of all unsafe work conditions.

Participates as a member of the Manufacturing Team, i.e. Trim, Shipping, Fabrication, etc. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies. Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas of lack of cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues effecting cohesiveness. Actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. This position description is intended to guide the activities of the Manufacturing Team Member, i.e. Trim, Shipping, Fabrication, etc. Finishing Team Member. Responsibilities:

* Read work orders and standardized work to position and align parts in specified relationship to each other; jig, fixture or, another holding device

* Mount assembly components, hardware or compounds

* Connect, test and pack various assembled materials or products

* Oversee machines that press, shape, cut. and cure various assembles

* Clean booths and paint controls at the end of run; clean pumps, hoses, nozzles, etc.

* Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks, as assigned, on the paint booth equipment

* Maintain neat and orderly work areas and observe all safety rules

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* High school diploma/GED required

* At least 1 year of assembly experience in a TS, AS or ISO facility

* Must have ability to read and interpret blue prints

* Basic math skills required; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

* Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English

* Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results

* Ability to work independently

* Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

The Systems Assembler in Metal Operations 2nd shift works in multiple areas of the department on a rotation. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability and willingness to read and interpret associated paperwork with all job functions, measuring devices, set-up and operates all air tools, electric and hand tools in a safe manner
* Focuses on performance, quality control, on-time and flexing
* Shows initiative, flexibility and the desire to assist fellow associates as the task at hand requires
* Takes ownership for all aspects pertaining to their current job assignment (safety, quality, output, etc.)
* Performs all their duties in an open and objective manner, utilizing a "best practice" mindset to drive continuous improvement in all job related functions
* Participates in Kaizen events to improve job functions
* Completes their job requirements in a manner that supports and promotes several key company work-life objectives (safety, quality, productivity, on-time order completion, etc.)
