Business Development Representative
Position Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a pivotal role responsible for driving high-quality pipeline growth through a blend of inbound and outbound efforts. This role works closely with Account Executives to strategically target accounts, qualify leads, and create new opportunities. This role requires a proactive mindset, a customer-centric approach, and adaptability to leverage modern tools and techniques in a dynamic sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Build strong rapport with prospects by providing valuable resources (e.g., webinars, white papers, blog content). Qualify inbound and outbound leads using modern frameworks (e.g., MEDDPIC) and assess their fit based on business needs.
Outbound Prospecting: Conduct targeted outreach using intent data, account intelligence, and multi-channel engagement strategies (e.g., cold calling, email, LinkedIn). All outreach should be highly personalized, leveraging company insights, individual details, and intent data or intelligence.
Collaboration with Account Executives: Partner on account planning, leveraging shared insights to identify high-potential opportunities for both customer and prospect accounts. Prioritize developing comprehensive Account Profiles to support effective research.
Inbound Lead Management: Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, ensuring excellent initial engagement to convert them into qualified opportunities.
Database & CRM Management: Maintain Salesforce and lead management platforms with precision, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Expand contact lists with key personas and decision-makers using advanced research tools and techniques.
Social Selling & Digital Engagement: Leverage social media platforms for prospecting, networking, and nurturing relationships. Create and share engaging content to build credibility and trust.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze outreach performance metrics, iterating to improve conversion rates. Stay up to date on industry trends, tools, and competitor activities to refine prospecting strategies.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a business development, sales, or related role, ideally in B2B environments.
Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Curiosity & Problem-Solving: Proactive in uncovering prospect pain points and aligning solutions to needs.

Compensation:

Overview

Summary of the Role
The Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) role is the lead generation engine for our marketing and sales organization, responsible for identifying and developing qualified leads to set up meetings for Account Executives. About The Role:
Creative Works is adding to its team of passionate and diligent sales professionals! The Creative Consultant role is an incredible opportunity to be on the all star team and market leader for immersive attractions and custom theming for Family Entertainment Centers (FECs) and Location Based Entertainment (LBE) venues.
This role is designed for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of high engagement and delivered results. This role is a blend of inbound leads and existing customer opportunities, as well as outbound prospecting to develop sales for our attraction portfolio such as Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Lucky Putt, Escape Rooms, Limitless VR, and ValoArena.
This role is instrumental in engaging our existing customer base, and developing net new leads to our system. It is therefore critical to our WHY at Creative Works: to make powerful emotions and memories through immersive attractions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Makes 20-40 sales calls and outreaches per day; qualifies and initiates contact with potential customers at all levels
Asks fact finding investigation questions, gathers and logs information, and actively listens to prospective customers to understand their business, uncover their problems, and identify impact areas
Identifies needs based on a single and/or multiple decision makers
Educate new leads on key success factors around our attractions
Identifies opportunities where Creative Works solutions can add value and create memories for our clients.
Regularly wins contracts and closes opportunities with 6-figure values
Tracks and manages sales activities using tools like Salesforce or Monday CRM, trade show attendee lists, inbound leads, and active prospecting outside of inbound leads
Job Requirements
Proven experience in sales and/or business development
Two years minimum experience in a high volume sales environment
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate product and value proposition messaging
Ability to research and identify potential prospects through a variety of channels
Comfortable with cold calling and other outbound prospecting activities
Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Monday, or similar
