What You Will Be Doing
Discover
Lead strategic discovery sessions and workshops with business users to uncover CX challenges and gaps, identify opportunities for AI augmentation and multi-agent automation, and define ROI-driven outcomes.
Design
Create customized demos and solution stories that highlight AI functionality-including conversational AI, Agentic AI, A2A orchestration, predictive insights, intent recognition, and speech analytics-to drive business value, and experience doing so is a plus.
Learn and Share
Stay current on Genesys' rapidly evolving AI products and best practices. Use this knowledge to guide customers throughout the implementation process, ensuring AI maturity progression and measurable value realization.
What You Need to Be Successful
Working knowledge of Agentic and/or Generative AI, including how to convey their business and technical value to customers
Familiarity with Large Action Models (LAMs), Agent-to-Agent (A2A) patterns, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) as applied to CX automation and orchestration
Experience in a Cloud or SaaS environment, preferably with AI solution exposure
Passion for technology, especially AI-driven CX transformation, and a drive to help customers solve problems creatively
Strong interpersonal skills with polished verbal and written communication
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment
Comfort working with APIs, data flows, and AI-powered interaction models (bots, routing, analytics)
Technical proficiency in IT concepts, software standards, databases, and networking

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

As our new managing consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing state‑of‑the‑art scientific, technical, and strategic risk management knowledge to an international client base. Your key tasks and responsibilities will potentially include:
Managing acoustical consulting projects and client relationships
Developing and implementing project execution approaches
Developing business relationships and evaluating market conditions
Leading teams to develop and deliver innovative acoustical design solutions that address complex environmental noise challenges
Managing technical analyses related to environmental noise surveys, sound level analyses, computer modeling (CadnaA, SoundPlan, or similar), and mitigation design/specification

Practical knowledge of the CEQA environmental review process including, but not limited to, Initial Studies (IS) and Environmental Impact Reports (EIR).
Demonstrated LORS (Laws, Ordinances, Regulations, and Standards) assessment experience including California Government Code, municipal codes, General Plan Noise Elements, as well as agencies such as Caltrans and California Energy Commission (CEC).
Technical expertise in assessing impacts of commercial and industrial projects related to noise and vibration emissions associated with construction, traffic, and operational activities and in developing feasible mitigation measures.
Experience coordinating with CEQA lead agencies, solid spreadsheet, noise modeling, and software tool skills, and demonstrated capabilities in understanding and applying environmental regulations to real‑world situations

The acoustical managing consultant will work in a challenging and variable environment that will include project management, business development, client interaction, direction/mentoring of junior staff, and detail‑oriented independent work.
Our team is growing to meet the expanding environmental noise and vibration assessment needs of clients, specifically including CEQA environmental noise assessments, across various sectors - infrastructure, data centers, renewable energy, ports, and transportation. As our new managing consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing state-of-the-art scientific, technical, and strategic risk management knowledge to an international client base. Your key tasks and responsibilities will potentially include:
Managing acoustical consulting projects and client relationships
Developing and implementing project execution approaches
Developing business relationships and evaluating market conditions
Leading teams to develop and deliver innovative acoustical design solutions that address complex environmental noise challenges
Managing technical analyses related to environmental noise surveys, sound level analyses, computer modeling (CadnaA, SoundPlan, or similar), and mitigation design/specification
Preparing reports and communicating results to clients as well as preparing proposals and fee estimates

10 or more years of experience in acoustical consulting, specifically environmental noise assessment and 5 or more years of experience in environmental noise assessments related to The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and demonstrated experience in the successful design, implementation, and management of project environmental noise assessments in accordance with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements.
Practical knowledge of the CEQA environmental review process including, but not limited to, Initial Studies (IS) and Environmental Impact Reports (EIR).
Demonstrated LORS (Laws, Ordinances, Regulations, and Standards) assessment experience including California Government Code, municipal codes, General Plan Noise Elements, as well as agencies such as Caltrans and California Energy Commission (CEC).
Technical expertise in assessing impacts of commercial and industrial projects related to noise and vibration emissions associated with construction, traffic, and operational activities and in developing feasible mitigation measures.
Experience coordinating with CEQA lead agencies, solid spreadsheet, noise modeling, and software tool skills, and demonstrated capabilities in understanding and applying environmental regulations to real‑world situations

Site Investigation and Assessment:

Perform data interpretation, risk assessment, and modeling to determine the extent and nature of contamination and its potential impact on human health and the environment.
Remediation Planning and Implementation:

Design and oversee the implementation of remediation strategies, which may include excavation, soil vapor extraction, groundwater treatment, in‑situ bioremediation, or other appropriate methods.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and permits during the remediation process.
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:
Interact and coordinate with regulatory agencies, such as the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), to obtain necessary approvals, permits, and closure documentation.
Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, including site investigation reports, risk assessment reports, remedial action plans, progress reports, and closure reports.
Keep abreast of changes in environmental regulations and guidelines and ensure compliance with evolving requirements.
Client Management and Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
Collaborate with project teams, including environmental engineers, geologists, and technicians, to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Communicate complex technical information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement quality control and assurance measures to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews of project activities to verify compliance with project plans, regulations, and best practices.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business is a plus.

Required Qualifications and Skills
10+ years in consulting with 4-6+ years in a managing/lead role driving multi‑workstream programs or complex systems integration.
Demonstrated expertise across business transformation domains with working knowledge of the others.
Program Strategy: objectives/scope definition, needs assessments, change management, risk mitigation, project plans/timelines, performance metrics, post‑implementation support.
Business Systems Integration: work‑management process improvements, technology deployment strategy, implementation/support, OCM, GRC.
Technology System Consulting: ERP/EAM assessments, technology audits/benchmarking, decision frameworks, system/process workflows, field service solution implementations, mobile/web app development.
Data Management: data analysis/cleanup, digitization, classification/modeling, data integration/solution deployment, data archiving strategies; familiarity with cloud data platforms.
Proven success crafting RFP responses and SOWs, including solution design, estimation, staffing models, and commercial terms; strong proposal storytelling.
Strong GTM enablement: creation of pitch materials, case studies, and executive‑ready content; confident presenter to VP/CXO audiences.
Solid grasp of enterprise platforms and integrations (e.g., EAM/ERP, work/order management, mobility solutions, cloud services) and related implementation lifecycles.
Delivery excellence: project/portfolio governance, risk and issue management, financial oversight (margin, utilization), and quality assurance.
Organizational change leadership: stakeholder mapping, communications, training, adoption metrics.
People management: coaching, performance management, resource planning, and building high‑performing teams.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive presence; ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups.
Structured problem solving and data‑driven decision‑making; proficiency with Project Management and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Utility sector depth: multi‑commodity and regulated utility experience; familiarity with field operations, asset and work management, and compliance‑driven environments.
Experience leading mobility strategy and custom mobile app deployments; comfort guiding “buy vs. build” decisions.
GRC exposure in technology programs; understanding of governance structures for large transformations.
Prior responsibility for practice build activities: service catalog definition, playbooks, hiring plans, training, and community‑building.
Certifications: PMP/PMI‑ACP, Prosci/Change Management, ITIL, SAFe/Agile, and relevant ERP/EAM platform certifications.
Salary
Salary: $150,000.00 - $160,000 Annually DOE
The salary range for this position is provided in good faith and is subject to variation based on geographic location, candidate experience, and market conditions. Final compensation will be determined after a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate's qualifications and alignment with the role.

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
