As leader of the Label & Graphics North American Supply Chain function, this role will drive both the strategic evolution and overall execution of the supply chain function. In this role, you will be responsible for supply chain planning, inventory management and control, and overall supply chain excellence for the LGM NA business. The ultimate goal is to generate speed and capital efficiency, allowing us to provide outstanding service for our customers while delivering high returns for the business. In this role you will report into the VP of Operations & Supply Chain, and will closely partner with the VP/GM and the entire NA leadership team.
You will establish the supply chain strategic plan, set annual operating targets, and ensure operating targets are achieved. You will lead a dynamic team of supply chain experts to build business processes, systems, analytics and infrastructure to ensure Operations and Supply Chain can scale to meet the needs of LGM NA's future growth. You will ensure that process excellence & digitization initiatives are appropriately coordinated into the strategic and operating plans in support of digital-first ambition.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with IT and supply chain leadership, develop a multi year strategic vision and strategy for the advancement and digitization of supply chain operations
Leading and implementing North American collaborative planning initiatives to drive advanced order visibility and supply chain/operational efficiency
Delivery and year-to-year improvement of business supply chain results: financial, quality, service, safety, inventory; responsible for long-term capabilities of operations - capacity, organization, skills, etc.
Drive the continued evolution of the supply chain function through structural design, process improvements, and systems application to support an effective and efficient team.
Ensure we have the organization structure & staffing plan to meet the current and future needs. Continually develop a diverse, outstanding team that achieves its objectives.
Develop relationships and partnerships with cross functional business teams and customers. Gain insight into customer needs from a manufacturing, service and quality perspective and articulate a vision for increased customer happiness through improved supply chain capabilities.
Providing key interface with the Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain and Commercial leaders to influence priorities and outcomes, as well as ensure that plans and initiatives are aligned and in tandem with broader goals.
Work collaboratively with peers in the other regions to build supply chain standard processes and organizational structures/capability
Minimum of 10-15 years of Operations/Manufacturing experience
Demonstrated experience leading a functional strategy and team within a complex environment. Including site management, management of multi-functional and organizational initiatives, and logistics/distribution experience required.
P&L management experience ideally coupled with knowledge of our specific industry.
Experience in planning & forecasting, with practical experience in researching new opportunities
Ability to champion new business ventures. Able to challenge traditional boundaries and eliminate barriers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required; ability to drive for performance of critical business imperatives.
Strong leadership skills with a consistent track record of motivating and encouraging a workforce required.
Demonstrated planning, organizing, project management and strategy implementation skills, including capital and expense budgeting.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent required, Master's Degree preferred.
