Mr. Schechter has served as a director of the Company since April 1, 2013. Mr. Schechter is an Executive Vice President of Merck & Co., Inc. and since 2010 has been President of Merck’s Global Human Health Division, which includes the company’s worldwide pharmaceutical and vaccine businesses. He is a member of Merck’s executive committee and pharmaceutical and vaccines operating committee. Prior to becoming President, Global Human Health, Mr. Schechter served as President, Global Pharmaceutical Business from 2007 to 2010. Mr. Schechter’s extensive experience at Merck includes global and U.S.-focused leadership roles spanning sales, marketing, and managed markets, as well as business and product development. Mr. Schechter serves on the Board of Directors for the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations. He is a Board Member for Water.org and an Executive Board Member for the National Alliance for Hispanic Health.

Tom Schoenherr comes to Ambry with more than 20 years of experience in the molecular diagnostics space, most recently as the CCO of Omada Health where he was responsible for driving business growth and increasing market share. He also served in similar roles at Counsyl, Quest Diagnostics, Siemens Healthcare and Abbott Diagnostics. As Ambry’s Chief Commercial Officer, Tom will be responsible for the execution of Ambry’s goto market strategy and will oversee all commercial functions including service, support, sales, marketing, business development, managed care and genetic specialists. Tom earned his BS from Michigan State University and completed his Executive Business Development Program from the University of Notre Dame.

Andrew Walton is a Chief Executive Officer at Miraca Life Sciences and Board Member at OXFORD IMMUNOTEC GLOBAL PLC. He has worked as Senior VP/CIO at LABORATORY CORP OF AMERICA HOLDINGS, Executive In Charge at LABORATORY CORP OF AMERICA HOLDINGS, and Exec VP:Strategic Planning at LABORATORY CORP OF AMERICA HOLDINGS. Andrew attended Yale University and Harvard Business School.

Kara Trott is the founder and CEO of Quantum Health. By leading a two year study applying consumer behavior strategies to track patients and providers throughout the healthcare process, she brought to life the Quantum Health program. This unique program reorganizes employers' benefits delivery to help employees and spouses better navigate a complex healthcare system and at the same time reduce unnecessary costs. Prior to starting Quantum Health, Kara was a corporate attorney with the law firm Bricker & Eckler. Before that she worked as a strategic marketing consultant and project manager at RPA, an international consulting firm. She's also earned a J.D. with honors from the Ohio State University College of Law and a B.A. in Politics and Philosophy from Ohio Wesleyan University. Kara loves films – from Casablanca to Christmas Vacation – and has compiled a nearly complete collection of Alfred Hitchcock movies.
