Schedule - Monday - Friday, 3:30am - 12:00pm Full Time - Starting Pay Range $22 - $27 per hour based on experience Day to Day Delivery Driver Team Member Activities Work off computer-generated sheets that identify the product, product locations and product quantity to be moved, stored, picked, etc. along with the action priority Using proper equipment and lifting techniques, quickly and accurately pull product for customer orders and/or branch transfers from warehouse shelves Package product for shipment according to Gensco standards Inspect truck to verify safe operation, work in a safe manner and follow appropriate procedures Load delivery trucks and trailers according to Gensco standards, and secure freight Operate a delivery truck to deliver and unload product at customer facilities, jobsites or Gensco facilities, making multiple deliveries in one day May assist customer with product put away Check truck and paperwork to verify appropriate delivery of product and quantity Always collect money/payment from customers for COD deliveries Accurately, legibly, and properly complete paperwork and turn it in for processing Load customer returns and unload, accurately return product and process RMAs within 24 hours from date of return and assist with put away Inform manager of stock outages, need for warehouse supplies, and delivery or backorder problems Delivery Driver Team Member Requirements Must have High School Diploma or GED Previous driving experience required Regular, consistent attendance for scheduled shifts Must have a valid license and clean driving record 21 years or older Must currently have a DOT required medical card or willingness to obtain one Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds Ability to work at heights up to 30' Previous driver/warehouse experience is beneficial, but not required Must be able to provide driving abstract A minimum qualification for our driver positions is that a candidate must have a clear driving abstract. This position is responsible for driving the Heavy-Duty Tractor and Trailer to pick up and deliver products that Raymond Handling Concepts sells and services. Duties and Responsibilities Driver will be on duty during normal working hours to operate a heavy-duty tractor and trailer. Driver picks up and delivers products that are sold and serviced by all departments within RW. Follow directions of the Sr. Logistics Manager and/or the employee designated to dispatch the driver. Follow daily transportation schedule. Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, such as maintenance of driver's logbook and random drug testing. Obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery of product. Document damage and condition of equipment that is received or delivered. Update training and skills on a continuing basis. Follow all Department procedures for asset movement, identification, and storage. Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, and accurate fashion. Maintain a clean and orderly (inside and outside) vehicle. Always represent the company in a professional manner. Maintain an acceptable driving record as established by Raymond Handling Solutions, Inc. insurance carrier. Report all accidents immediately, regardless of fault or situation. Account for 100% of available time during working hours. Must be willing to work overtime when necessary and coordinate with assigned supervisor. Must follow safety procedures and use good judgment in regard to safety. Must be willing to drive safely with tall equipment requiring permit loads and double check all traffic routes. Must be willing to work out of town, as necessary. Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by the Department Manager/Supervisor.
