The Electrical Engineer II performs electronic design, test, and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform electronic design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products or in support of mass production.
Develop test requirements, methods, and limits to confirm the quality of products during development and mass production.
Utilize CAD tools to perform electrical design.
Utilize electrical design analysis and simulation tools to aid in circuit design and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards.
Perform debugging of complex electronic designs and root cause analysis.
Coordinate cross-functional design reviews.
Manage relationships with external suppliers by communicating internal component application requirements and evaluating potential solutions.
Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.
Digital/mixed-signal circuit design and software integration using microcontrollers, microprocessors, system-on-chip (SoC), or field programmable gate arrays (FPGA).
Analog circuit design and analysis using operational amplifiers, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), linear power supplies, and power management integrated circuits (PMIC).
Hardware development of driver assistance, image acquisition, video processing, or display systems.
Application of automotive EMC and quality standards to hardware design from concept through production.
Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
Other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING
: Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional working experience.
