POSITION OVERVIEW

This position requires onsite work in Zeeland, MI. It is not open to remote or hybrid work.

· Actively enrolled or received a master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering from an accredited institution
· Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States

**Preferred Qualifications:**
· Industry experience in Power Electronics including controls
· Prior internship or co-op experience (Power Electronics Hardware/Control Design, and/or Power conversion; Model based design/ electronic circuit design and simulation; Electrical testing, troubleshooting, & validation)
· Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
· Demonstrated exposure to machine learning or AI concepts through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects including experience using AI-assisted development tools, experience in prompt engineering, and working with generative AI models and simulation tools
**Position Criteria:**
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts
· This role may include travel (up to 25%) within a local region as determined by the Engineering & Technology Assignment Manager
· Transportation to and from the worksite and for incidental business travel is the responsibility of the intern; however, expenses for required and approved business travel (not including the worksite) will be reimbursed
· The summer internship culminates with a formal presentation where students showcase their success stories to leaders of the organization and receive feedback on their performance
· Demonstrate geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States for the duration of the Internship Program to an Eaton facility including (but not limited to): Raleigh, NC; Pittsburgh, PA; Milwaukee, WI; Southfield, MI; or Torrance, CA
