As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are looked at as the “face of the retail store” and the go to person as soon as our customers enter our retail stores for all of their automotive needs. You don't need to be able to tear and motor down and rebuild it (however, if you can, that's awesome) - but we do need you to have a background and knowledge of automotive parts. What you will be doing:
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phone
Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members answer questions for customers
Providing outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store!
Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system

What you'll need:
Valid Driver's License
Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts.
High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree.

+ **Customer Assistance & Communication** - Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
+ **Leadership & Teamwork** - Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
+ **Sales & Metrics Mindedness** - Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
+ **Inventory Management & Store Operations** - Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly.
+ **Process Orientation & Safety Compliance** - Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a secure work environment.
+ **Product Knowledge** - Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
+ **Diagnostics Support** - Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

**What We're Looking For**
+ Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
+ Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
+ Flexible Schedule: Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
**You'll Go The Extra Mile If You Have**
+ Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
+ Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
+ Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail.
+ Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
