Position Description The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations as well as ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient material handling, and timely support of production needs. This role is critical in maintaining the seamless flow of materials from receipt through storage, kitting, and shipment, while enforcing safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a continuous improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, kitting, and shipping of materials and finished goods. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of components to production lines to meet manufacturing schedules. Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations. Train, mentor, and manage warehouse staff to ensure performance, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline material flow and reduce bottlenecks. Oversee the handling and storage of heavy and large-scale components specific to chiller manufacturing. Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment. Use and maintain ERP/WMS systems to track inventory and transactions. Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory turns, and on-time delivery. Assist with planning space utilization and layout improvements for increased efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred. Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in industrial or HVAC equipment preferred. 3 years supervisory or leadership experience related to Warehouse or Materials Experience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Forklift certification and familiarity with material handling equipment is a plus. Implement and maintain quality processes and standards through continuous improvement projects. Investigate, analyze, and resolve inventory variances including vendor errors or discrepancies. Inspect and process reverse logistics returns. Coordinate with other sites and departments to ensure shipment accuracy and integrity. Foster accountability while creating a healthy and positive working environment. Ensure compliance with pertinent Federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA, CDL, DOT, and MHE within supply chain site. Proactively identify health and safety risks, swiftly implementing resolutions, and providing coaching or training on cutting-edge best practices. What You'll Need 4-6 years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, or distribution inventory experience preferred. 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Korber or related WMS software a plus. Demonstrated ability to exceed KPIs in service-oriented industries, prioritizing quality, business partnerships, and customer outcomes.
