Job Description We are seeking skilled and reliable Field Welders with current 3G/4G certifications and hands-on experience working with miscellaneous metals such as stairs, handrails and light structural components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in stick welding, grinding, and interpreting blueprints and work instructions to complete installations with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities: Perform stick welding and other welding techniques on steel, aluminum and stainless steel materials. Grind railings, stairs and structural components according to specifications. Operate grinders, band saws and other standard ironworker tools. Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA, Mid-State, and General Contractor regulations. Travel to job sites and adapt to various work schedules as needed. Lift and carry up to 75 pounds safely. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time. Qualifications Certified in 3G/4G welding is preferred (company will certify also). Proven experience in stick welding, particularly with stairs, railings and light structures. Proficient in using grinders, band saws, and standard fabrication tools. Experience with aluminum and stainless welding preferred. Ability to read and follow blueprints. Familiarity with construction job sites and safety protocols. Must be dependable, team-oriented, and flexible with work hours and travel requirements.
