Six (6) months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred. Assist Registered Nurses in developing and implementing patient care plans based on assessment findings, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals and shelter staff. Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians or within established protocols, including managing medication administration for a large number of shelter residents, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for infection, with consideration for limited resources and potential environmental challenges in a shelter, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
