Responsibilities
Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider diagnoses and treats acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. In addition, this position focuses on health promotion and disease prevention; order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and x- rays; and prescribe medication.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs routine medical examinations on inmates or detainees under established guidelines.
Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic medical illnesses.
Provides medical treatment and services, consistent with the provision of basic health care services, in conjunction with a physician.
Formulates comprehensive treatment plans and prognosis based on the patient's health conditions.
Prescribes medication dosages, routes, and frequencies based on patients' diagnosis permitted under State and DEA licensure.
Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests such as complete blood counts (CBCs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and radiographs (x-rays) with physician oversight as needed.
Analyzes and interprets a patient's history, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate clinical assessment and treatment plan.
Develops treatment plans are based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and clinical practice guidelines.
Documents all health care services provided and include comprehensive records of health care plans and prognosis in the patient's medical record.
Counsels patients on prescribed drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other drugs or substances.
Recommends interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks.
Educates patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.
Provides patients with information needed to promote good health, reduce risk factors, and prevent disease or disability.
Consults with or refers patients to appropriate specialists when conditions exceed the scope of practice or expertise.
Reads current literature, talk with colleagues, and participates in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in nursing.
Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions with attention to clinical indication, safety and patient acceptability and compliance, to treatment plan.
Schedules follow-up visits to monitor patients or evaluate health or illness care.
Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner/physician assistant practice and licensure requirements.
Performs primary care procedures such as suturing, splinting, administering immunizations, taking specimen cultures, and appropriate wound care and debridement as necessary.
Maintains departmental policies and procedures in areas such as safety and infection control.
Must be available for 24-hour coverage based on the need of the facility and as assigned, to advise nursing staff in the care of detainees/inmates/residents after hours.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant studies required.
Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, or as a Physician Assistant in the state the facility is located, as well as a current DEA license. Must maintain current copy of applicable licenses at the facility.
Two (2) years of advanced practice experience preferred.
Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Skill in performing uncomplicated surgical procedures.
Ability to administer prescribed medications.
Ability to perform complete physical appraisals of patients.
Ability to identify and evaluate illnesses.
Ability to initiate diagnostic laboratory tests and evaluate the results.
Ability to manage the care of patients.

Responsibilities
Summary
This position manages a caseload of participant cases by administering the policies and procedures of the program as directed by the contracting agency and the Program Manager or Supervising Case Manager. Learns, uses and models principles of the “What Works” system through evidence-based practices in all interactions with participants and other staff members. This position reports on program operations to ensure that all requirements of the criminal justice system are met.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Meeting with the Supervised Offender a minimum of once per week to review progress and ensure the Supervised Offender is attending required programming activities.
Ensuring efficient management of casework functions as well as being responsible for monitoring each Supervised Offender's progress and recommending corrective measures to the assigned NJSPB representative or representative of the agency responsible for the offender's supervision and the Supervised Offender when progress is substandard.
Possession of a broad, in-depth knowledge of the program modalities and services of the Contractor's program to ensure an appropriate match for the Supervised Offender; and
Initiation and final preparation of the discharge/continuing care plan and forwarding of all documentation to the NJSPB or the agency responsible for the offenders' supervision upon discharge.
Manages a participant caseload using principles of the “What Works” system. Conducts risk/need assessments and creates individual treatment plans for each assigned participant. Meets regularly with participants and documents participants' progress or regress in Company database.
Conducts orientation meetings with new participants to explain program rules and regulations. Verbally explains the participant contract in detail to ensure that the participant understands his/her responsibilities.
Sets participant schedules and specifies all approved activities based on sentencing information. Approves temporary schedule changes for approved activities.
Collects participant fees on an on-going basis when required. Notifies the Program Manager of delinquent fees.
Monitors participant compliance with alcohol and/or drug counseling when required.
Reports all program violations to the appropriate agency or official via the established reporting parameters.
Troubleshoots equipment problems and relays technical problems to the Program Manager for resolution.
May review daily summaries each morning and forward reports to the appropriate agency as required.
Reports on the status of program operations regularly to ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for court review.
Represents the company in contacts with elected officials and other public figures in the criminal justice system.
May facilitate psycho-educational/behavior modification groups each week. Documents participants' attendance, participation and progress in Company database.
May testify in court regarding participants' compliance with court orders.
May screen participants at jail for entry into the program.
May be required to learn and develop proficiency in Client Services Specialist's duties, including opening and closing the office, and performing participant intakes, check-ins, breath analysis and drug screens, to provide backup when necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Social Services required.
One (1) year of experience in casework duties providing services to the Supervised Offender population.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Accountable for the in-field application of policies and procedure relating to applied Radiation Protection (RP) programs. Directly manages the Radiation Protection first line Supervisors and Radiation Protection Technician activities in their daily support of plant Operations and maintenance activities.

This position maintains continuous state of alertness and awareness to control and secure the facility and residents. Operates within legal constraints and contract agency stipulations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures that the equipment necessary for each watch is operational including radios, flashlights, and keys prior to relieving the watch. Prepares shift documentation including shift reports, work orders, security reports, and unusual incidents that are legible, concise and that meet facility's standards and contracting agency requirements.
Receives necessary information from previous shift personnel pertaining to events that transpired during the shift such as resident medical problems, disciplinary problems, or new arrivals and any special instructions. The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting daily cycle counts of finished goods and/or raw materials inventory to assess the accuracy of on-hand levels. Results are recorded and variances investigated. The position will use systematic problem-solving skills to identify root causes of the variances. Results of root cause investigations will be shared with process owners so that corrective actions can be implemented. Variances will be reconciled, and results provided to Management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts blind counts of on-hand inventory.
Uses pallet jacks and/or forklifts to move material as needed to assure accurate counts are performed.
Enters all relevant cycle count data into Syteline ERP system.
Conducts recounts of variances from un-posted cycle counts that do not meet acceptance criteria.
When needed, uses transaction history in Syteline ERP system to identify potential causes of variances.
Reports results, findings, an action to Inventory Strategy Manager.
Performs root cause analysis related to cycle count inaccuracies.
Communicates analysis results with process owners so they can improve processes.
Reconciles cycle counts in Syteline ERP system.
Posts cycle counts in Syteline ERP system.
Assists in preparation and execution of scheduled physical inventory counts.

Summary
The Security Monitor coordinates the administrative and operational security activities on a specific shift in a residential re-entry center. Effectively leads staff during assigned shift to maintain adequate security coverage.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Security Monitor reads, understands and complies with specific post orders written for the assigned post.
Ensures that resident formal counts are conducted.
The Security Monitor directly leads Monitor staff and residents on the shift in the performance of their duties and evaluate as prescribed by the facility and corporate policy. This includes training new employees, listening and resolving complaints or problems, taking corrective or disciplinary action, developing work schedules, monitoring post assignments, approving leave requests, and preparing resident work.
Reports any suspected unauthorized activity or absence to the Security Manager or Facility Director.
The Security Monitor maintains daily logs, phone, resident in/out, visitors in/out, and facility checks.Providesfor adequate staffing in areas led and fillsin as needed during periods of short staffing. The Security Monitor participates in the evaluation of security staff.
Cooperates and coordinates with the facility training requirements for the delivery of required staff training programs; verifies that assigned employees receive required training.
The Security Monitor monitors safety practices and ensures that safety and accident reports are prepared and disseminated as required by policy. Takes appropriate action in case of serious and unusual incidents and emergencies.
Conducts meetings of shift offices, attends scheduled staff meetings and enhances effective communications within the facility.
