What you will be doing:
* Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center
* Supervises staff and directs work as they execute activities related to order fulfillment, order management, inventory management, stocking, material handling, equipment usage, and related needs
* Prepares work schedules and reacts quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labor needs
* Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system
* Interviews and trains prospective and new team members
* Supervises business support staff development including appraising performance, rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
* Ensures team understands and works toward performance goals
* Recommends process improvements within the warehouse or distribution center
* Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels
* Ensures compliance to all company and customer policies and procedures including safety
* Schedules work for special and periodic inventories
* Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
* Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and ISO9002 procedures
* Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of team.
* Prepares reports for leadership
* Assists in maintaining the physical properties of the warehouse
* Submits weekly, monthly and other special services billing to customer services representatives
* Supervises employees in distribution center operation in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
* Other duties as required and assigned
* For food accounts, incumbent is responsible to report food safety problems to senior management to initiate action
Requirements
* High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
* Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience
* 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
* Experience with warehouse equipment
* Experience with warehouse management systems
* Experience with labor management systems
* PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Agent, Admin has the basic responsibility for label control, yard coordination, and administrative functions in support of the entire outbound (Shipping and Picking) operation. The Admin is also responsible for communicating issues to the outbound supervisors in a timely manner. Must have Excel Experience and be computer literate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Label Control:
* Prepare, distribute, and reprint all labels for carton/pallet pickers daily in a fair and consistent manner. Maintain a clear, consistent label flow to allow pickers the opportunity to perform in a safe, accurate, and productive manner without issue or hindrance. Track and document all labels given out.
Yard Coordination:
* Utilize Y/WMS system to communicate outbound pulls and plugs to yard drivers on a daily basis. Assist supervisor to ensure trailer is properly chocked and green light is active before trailers are moved or loading begins.
Administrative Functions:
* Complete computer data entry required for shipments. Issue seals to loaders. Verify accurate, pertinent information (i.e., seal number, trailer number, store number, etc.) in order to prepare Bills of Lading (BOL's) for all completed outbound loads. Schedule LTL carriers for pickup (site specific). Print work assignments for replenishment drivers. Document and file all outbound related paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion. Multitask and work with a high sense of urgency in the performance of all duties. Assist outbound supervisors with compiling and tracking downtime sheets as required. Provide service and adhere to professional etiquette when communicating with members of management, peers, customers, and visitors.
Safety, Sanitation, Security:
* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Ensure all seals and sensitive documents are properly secured when not in use. Distribute and collect tools and equipment (i.e., RF guns, bolt cutters, etc.) to associates and report issues to
outbound supervisors in a timely manner. Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety. Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS Standard

POSITION SUMMARY
Manages and builds the relationship with the clients at the site level while maintaining a working knowledge of the overall performance of the operation. Responsible for the optimal preparation, administrative follow-up and securing of the inbound, picking, packing, VAL and outbound process and the communication about these with the clients and internal stakeholders while meeting the client's SOP. This includes overseeing the work and output of any Team Leaders in the department. The Manager will be the escalation point to resolve any client requests or complaints in the event they are not able to be handled by the representatives in the department. Responsible for supporting the Capacity Controller in directing and maintaining consistent freight flow management within and outside the private fleet to ensure minimum bump freight and service failures at minimal cost.
Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
* May receive requests for unscheduled movements and create ARGUS tracking records
* Ensures accurate and timely input of data into ARGUS, Tracking Logs and Reports, and Spot Purchase Agreements for Unscheduled Movements.
* Monitors freight movement for data integrity, cost, and schedule compliance
* Communicates changes in the scheduled network due to enacted contingencies
* Completes corporate service and revenue audit and reports for specialty products
* Identifies problem shipments that will generate significant service failures and or increased fleet cost. Works with stations in an effort to find alternative routings or solutions to service commitments
* Coordinates non-fleet movement of freight on alternative carriers as well as monitors and coordinates the movement of freight on the system's fronthaul/backhaul
* Tracks and maintains all information on non-fleet movements for daily recaps and reports
* Monitors movement and performance of specialty products identifying and reporting any problems
* May receive orders from forwarders and completes the booking process
* May serve as the central point of contact for customer's inquires and questions

Summary
An Air Export Gateway Freight Forwarder will be responsible for managing and coordinating the exportation of goods via air transport directly from the gateway facility. Your role involves overseeing the entire export process, from booking cargo space to preparing documentation and ensuring timely delivery to international destinations.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Coordinate air export shipments directly from the gateway facility, including booking cargo space, arranging pick-ups, and coordinating with carriers and airlines.
* Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
* Prepare export documentation, such as air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export licenses, accurately and efficiently.
* Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation to facilitate customs clearance and cargo acceptance.
* Facilitate customs clearance procedures for export shipments, including filing export declarations and obtaining necessary permits or certificates.
* Ensure adherence to customs regulations and trade compliance standards.
* Monitor the movement of export shipments from the gateway facility to the destination airport, tracking transit milestones and providing status updates to clients and stakeholders.
* Address any issues or delays in transit and implement corrective actions as needed.
