What you will be doing:
* Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed
* Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded
* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
* Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to OH or customer pick sheet
* Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a fork lift, clamp truck or other power equipment
Requirements:
* High school education or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
* Minimum 3 to 6 months experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
* Previous experience operating forklift is required
* Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment
* Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment

Your role on the team:
* Consolidates client orders into optimal load profiles and assigns carriers to loads utilizing the Transportation Management System (TMS)
* Responsible for load planning, optimization, routing and scheduling of all transportation modes
* Develops and implements final stage system parameters that drive system load assignments that identify, build and book hundreds of loads per day in compliance with client routing expectations, driving financial impact to client

The Inventory Lead is responsible for operating MHEs for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting. Computer data entry is required for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance. POSITION SUMMARY

Summary
At DSV Road Transport, The VAD Driver is responsible for the safe, compliant, and professional transportation and installation of sensitive equipment from warehouse locations to designated Data Center Operations (DCO) sites. This role requires a Class A CDL, strict adherence to FMCSA regulations, and the ability to operate within existing and active construction environments. The VAD Driver serves as an extension of DSV, ensuring high standards in safety, customer service, appearance, and communication while completing deliveries individually or in teams of up to five.

Duties and Responsibilities
Operate Class A commercial vehicles in full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Perform accurate and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe and legal operation of equipment.
Travel from warehouse locations to DCO sites and deliver equipment on schedule.
Utilize tools and follow prescribed procedures to assist with installation of server systems and sensitive equipment.
Work independently or in teams of up to five to complete deliveries to DCO sites.
Maintain a professional appearance, including required uniforms and PPE.
Complete all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and ensure load accuracy.
Communicate operational issues, delays, hazards, or compliance concerns to the VAD Manager promptly.
Operate safely within new, existing, and active construction environments.
Maintain high standards of safety, customer service, and adherence to DSV policies.
Travel to other clusters within the U.S. as required and work weekends based on business need.
Follow schedules determined by onsite management; work within a standard 5-day week with overtime as approved.
Educational background / Work experience / Minimum Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR meeting FMCSA and DSV standards.
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, walk long distances while carrying/pushing, and move between prone/standing/kneeling positions.
Minimum 1 - 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Ability to work in active construction sites and variable outdoor conditions.
Ability to work weekends, variable schedules, approved overtime, and travel as needed.
Experience supporting data-center deliveries or specialized technology equipment preferred
Familiarity with POD systems, ELDs, and standard freight documentation preferred
Experience installing or assisting with IT/server equipment (training provided) preferred

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of a truck driver, the employee is required to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle. The employee must use hands and fingers to operate a steering wheel, controls, GPS devices, and other on-board equipment. The role also requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, climb in and out of the cab and trailer, and occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch during inspections, coupling/uncoupling, or loading/unloading activities. The employee must be able to communicate effectively using verbal and hearing skills, often via CB radio or mobile devices. Vision requirements include the ability to see at a distance for safe driving, as well as close vision for reading documents, using electronic logs, and performing inspections.

Lifts up to 50 pounds
Frequently reach for freight at waist level and occasionally above shoulder height or below waist level
Shift manual transmission and operate foot pedals, not applicable on all trucks

Climb in and out of over-the-road tractor, 4 to 6 feet, 8 to 10 times daily with assistance of various steps and handholds; occasionally bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching and balancing.
Conduct pre-trip inspection for a tractor and trailer.
Be able to hook/unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, manually lower/raise landing gear, operate the fifth wheel release level, lock/release pintle-hooks, fuel vehicles and check engine oil/coolant levels, perform preventative maintenance.
Must be able to spend at least 50% of day standing, walking on surfaces such as wood, metal and concrete. Surface may sometimes be slippery or wet.
Must be able to reach above shoulder level, at waist level and below waist level for maneuvering and directing the controls to operate the truck.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of a driver, the employee may be exposed to diesel fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally harsh weather conditions while loading or unloading. The work environment includes time spent both inside the truck cab-which may involve extended periods of sitting and exposure to engine noise and vibration-and outside at customer sites, terminals, or on public roadways. Noise levels can vary from quiet inside the cab to moderate or loud at delivery or pick-up locations.

* Tracks employee hours in account to provide feedback
* Directs team of employees for one or more accounts in warehouse
* Coordinates with CSR and Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules, labor requirements for rework projects, and cycle counts
* Unloads and moves inbound freight product to storage locations safely and efficiently
* Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded

REQUIREMENTS:

The local shuttle driver will be responsible for executing local deliveries within a 50-mile radius with a 26ft box truck with the utmost care, professionalism, and accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate 26' box truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and the Department of Transportation
Accurately and efficiently load and unload cargo, often using a manual or powered pallet jack
Backs truck to customer dock.
Maintains compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and safe and professional driving behavior.
Communicates with customer representatives in pleasant, respectful, and efficient manner.
Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
Complies with all DOT requirements including drug and alcohol testing (subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing).
Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
Ensure that any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications & Work Experience
CDL A License Required
A minimum of 2 years CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years. 3+ years CDL A driving experience preferred.
Meet D.O.T. qualification requirements, FMCSR 391.41.
Experience in load securement, route planning, and navigating various road conditions.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive cargo with care.
Detail-oriented / mindset required.
Must have a TWIC or eligible to obtain a TWIC card within 90 days, if required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of a shuttle driver, the employee is required to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle. The employee must use hands and fingers to operate a steering wheel, controls, GPS devices, and other on-board equipment. The role also requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, climb in and out of the cab and trailer, and occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch during inspections, coupling/uncoupling, or loading/unloading activities. The employee must be able to communicate effectively using verbal and hearing skills, often via CB radio or mobile devices. Vision requirements include the ability to see at a distance for safe driving, as well as close vision for reading documents, using electronic logs, and performing inspections.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of a driver, the employee may be exposed to diesel fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally harsh weather conditions while loading or unloading. The work environment includes time spent both inside the truck cab-which may involve extended periods of sitting and exposure to engine noise and vibration-and outside at customer sites, terminals, or on public roadways. Noise levels can vary from quiet inside the cab to moderate or loud at delivery or pick-up locations.

* Develops materials for and leads client QBR meetings (client executives, GEODIS executives, Transportation Management groups, etc.)
* Responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives that improve service, financial savings, efficiency, productivity, and communication to client and GEODIS
* Develops cost saving opportunities in excess of at least $20,000 per assigned client per year
* Works with IT implementation team to validate and improve TMS performance; assists with strategic initiatives to increase automation and efficiency
* Determines work procedures related to assigned clients and ensures that the Book of SOPs is accurate; provides quarterly updates to Training Administrator
* Coordinates with FAP on invoice resolution and carrier escalation
* Validates and approves accrual reports provided by Central Billing Team before clients are billed each week
* Provides cross-training to coordinators, senior planners and supervisors as each is expected to be able to step in and support client(s) at any given time; is cross-trained on operational responsibilities for at least two additional clients in order to support when needed

What you will be doing:
* Conducts inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs
* Compiles, verifies and reports daily and/or periodic statistical information aimed at detecting trends to improve and maintain the overall health of inventory
