What You'll Need to Bring With You
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in science or engineering (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or related field) is required. An emphasis on hydrogeology, aqueous geochemistry, and/or bedrock structural geology coursework is preferred. A Master of Science (M.S.) degree is highly desirable.
A minimum of six years of related experience is required; minimum of 10 year's professional experience in the investigation and/or remediation of environmentally impacted sites is preferred.
Must have OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification and annual 8-hour refresher, as applicable.

CDM Smith will conduct interviews of qualified individuals prior to requesting a criminal background check, and no job application submitted prior to such interview shall inquire into an applicant's criminal history. If this position is subject to a background check for any convictions related to its responsibilities and requirements, employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history. Criminal history will not automatically disqualify a candidate. In addition, during employment individuals may be required by CDM Smith or a CDM Smith client to successfully complete additional background checks, including motor vehicle record as well as drug testing.
**Pay Range Minimum:**
$78,624
**Pay Range Maximum:**
$157,248
**Additional Compensation:**
All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
**Work Location Options:**
Successful candidate will be required to work 100% in the office.
**Driver's License Requirements:**
An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
