Evaluate short-cycle data room opportunities, providing actionable recommendations. Advanced geotechnical proficiency in unconventional reservoir characterization, petroleum systems analysis, and uncertainty/risk assessment. Skilled in well log & seismic interpretation, applying sequence and seismic stratigraphy concepts, and placing areas of interest into a regional context. Provide technical guidance on non-operated projects, mainly AFE decisions, annual business plan, and SEC reserves reporting. Primary responsibilities include: Monitor, observe, sample, and record field environmental conditions accurately and consistently Prepare accurate reports, data sheets, and technical documentation summarizing environmental data, analyses, findings, and recommendations for clients and regulatory agencies Analyze maps, drawings, test results, and aerial imagery to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrology, and other geologic or topographical characteristics Calculate cost and determine feasibility remediation of projects based on analysis of collected data Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess environmental risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and support timely project delivery Oversee project management functions including safety oversight, scheduling, cost control, staffing, invoicing, proposal preparation, and report review Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with coworkers, clients, and contractors and contribute to business development efforts as part of a coordinated team Stay informed on evolving environmental regulations, industry trends, and best practices Requirements Bachelor's degree in geology, biology; M.S. is a plus Professional Geologist (P.G.) licensure in Texas or ability to obtain within six months 8 to 12+ years of progressive experience in geology in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market. Experience with due diligence and remedial investigations required. Must have TRRP and APAR experience and demonstrated experience working in the field.
