This full-time, in-person position involves teaching a variety of undergraduate biology courses, including both lectures and associated labs, to a diverse student population. The primary focus is on student success and preparing students for transfer to four-year institutions or entry into the workforce. The successful faculty member will be required to teach a minimum of three laboratory courses in each of the 4 academic quarters each year. The faculty member will have the option of teaching during the summer quarter, when courses are available, for additional compensation. The contract is renewable on a yearly basis upon availability of classes and satisfactory job performance. Candidates who meet the qualifications below and have previous or current military experience will be given preference during the selection process. Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Temporary Basketball Summer Camp Worker on the Dahlonega campus. These temporary workers will assist UNG Men's Basketball program in the execution of UNG Basketball Kid's Camp while stressing the fundamentals and values of basketball. The camp will run from July 21-24, 2025. Responsibilities * Teach basketball fundamentals of ball handling, passing, footwork and shooting. * Interact in positive manner with campers while pushing the core values of teamwork, integrity, joy, and camaraderie. * Manage the safety of the campers during all moments of camp. Preferred Qualifications * High school graduate preferred. * Played high school or college basketball preferred. * Experience playing or coaching basketball at HS or collegiate level preferred.
