Only fields marked with an asterisk (*) are REQUIRED to submit your application; please feel free to bypass all others. Georgia Military College is seeking to hire current students to participate in our Federal Work-Study Program at all of our campus locations! Qualifications to work for FWS are as follows. Students MUST: * have completed a financial aid file * have need as determined by FAFSA * be in "good" standing status according to GMC's Satisfactory Academic Policy * have a High School Diploma/GED. Eligibility for participation in the FWS Program is determined by Financial Aid. If your financial aid file/FAFSA is not complete at the time that your application is submitted, there will be a delay in processing your eligibility for the Program. To ensure a quick turnaround time from when your application is submitted to when you're notified of your eligibility, it's recommended to check with your Campus Financial Aid Office and establish that your financial aid file is completed prior to applying. * FWS is a need-based program. If you are deemed eligible for participation in the FWS Program, please note that receiving any sort of student loan (or other form of Financial Aid not initially calculated in your file) after the initial award amount and/or eligibility has been determined by Financial Aid, your eligibility for participation in the FWS Program could potentially change, even if you are already working under the Program. This could mean an increase or decrease of aid award, or being deemed ineligible to participate in the FWS program. If you have questions about this, please contact your Campus Financial Aid office for clarification. Georgia Military College employees are required to enroll in direct deposit as the institution does not issue paychecks. New hires will be required to upload account information for direct deposit within the onboarding process prior to their start date. Employees have the ability to add, remove, and change account information within their Paycom Employee Self-Service portal. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ALL QUESTIONS ON THE APPLICATION MUST BE ANSWERED. Completion of application and/or approved eligibility does not guarantee placement in a FWS position. Students MUST pass a Background Screen before being officially hired. Georgia Military College is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
