Your Job Are you a mechanically inclined person who enjoys working in a team environment to troubleshoot and resolve electro-mechanical issues? If so, we may have just the opportunity for you! We are seeking qualified applicants for the Automation Technician role supporting the operation of an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) system in a De Pere, Wisconsin area distribution center. This position will be a part of a dynamic work team and report to the Automation & Robotics Center of Excellence team. The position will also work with a team that services all geographic regions across the country. This is a non-exempt salaried position.
Expected travel will be minimal with this role, in the 5%-10%, centered around cross training and skill development opportunities.
What You Will Do
Complete regularly scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM's) on time and per AGV Platform requirements.
Provide corrective maintenance - including Root Cause Analysis.
Effectively provide feedback/training to Operator Technicians as needed.
Use tools and data to predict when maintenance is performed.
Ensure Asset Strategies are being executed and provide feedback to AGV Platform when changes are needed.
Track issues/repairs and utilize escalation process via SAP or similar tools.
Work collaboratively with other internal resources to engage additional platform team members as needed.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience or aptitude in applying basic electrical and mechanical principles, motors, drivers, belts, and bearings.
Experience in operations and equipment maintenance or manufacturing engineering.
Experience communicating with various audiences as this role will require communication to all levels of the organization (i.e., via reports, e-mail, verbally, and/or in small/large group settings) in a team environment.
Experience applying Root Cause Analysis techniques.
Willingness to learn specific skills required to maintain and operate AGV's and supporting automation equipment.
Ability and willingness to work independently, along with the ability and willingness to collaboratively with other internal and external resources as needed to perform maintenance tasks.

Troubleshoot, repair, and follow through on maintenance issues for electromechanical systems.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security of all ride equipment and work areas.
Inspect rides and attractions for safety hazards and ensure compliance with ASTM, NEC, OSHA, and local codes.
Operate tools and equipment such as drill presses, grinders, and power saws.
Recognize and address equipment needing repair, replacement, or adjustment.
Keep tools and machinery clean and in good working condition.
Stay up to date on industry techniques and practices through ongoing training and education.
Collaborate with fellow maintenance staff and other departments.
Respond promptly to emergency repair calls to ensure guest and employee safety and comfort.
Maintain a calm, rational approach under pressure or in emergencies.
Mentor and train Ride Engineer I team members.
Follow all LEGOLAND Florida policies and procedures.
Maintain guest-friendly, service-oriented demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in electromechanical installation, maintenance, and service.
Strong troubleshooting skills for rides and animation systems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, micrometers, and calipers.
Familiar with a wide range of tools, hardware, lubricants, and torque wrenches.
Experience with electromechanical systems, including water pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and actuators.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and practices preferred.
Ability to read and assess technical reports preferred.
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent education and experience) required.
Basic math skills required.
