JOB INFORMATION: Job Title: Protective Services Officer FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Under the supervision of the On-Duty Shift Supervisor, the Protective Services Officer (PSO) controls traffic gates, directs motor vehicle traffic and motorized heavy equipment, checks proper authorization and identification of all cargo, property, or persons entering or exiting the terminal. About the Role How you will contribute Perform cycle counts as per the daily requirements and investigate discrepancies as they arise. * Operate strictly to Standard Work and Quality processes to ensure a "Right First Time" product to the customer. * Assist in follow up of customer concerns. Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues. * Deliver required throughput rate to support customer requirements. * Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business. * Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to customer requirements * Other duties as assigned. Your Key Qualifications * High school diploma or GED * Prior Forklift Certification. * Able to work with diverse group of people and be a team player. * Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure. * Willingness to undergo additional training to meet developing and changing business needs. The Opportunity: The overarching goal of the Accounts Receivable department is to support the sales growth of Smurfit Westrock while ensuring that the company\u2019s cash flow and credit risk are maintained at acceptable levels. We are seeking a Cash Application Coordinator to join the team. The person in this role will report to the Cash Application Supervisor and assist to ensure that all customer payments are applied promptly and accurately, supporting an efficient collections process. This is a hybrid position and will sit onsite 3 days a week at our Duluth office Responsibilities: * Sort physical mail, including checks and correspondence, and communication with stakeholders via email. * Remotely deposit GL checks, Canadian checks, and customer checks. * Answer customer calls and handle MPS and SWK credit card payments. * Process CHAX checks through remote deposits. * Handle multiple EFT transactions throughout the week. * Pursues continuous improvement and personal growth through training, coaching, manager interactions, and active participation in Smurfit Westrock's performance management process. * Take part in projects and initiatives within the Cash Application Department. * Complete other miscellaneous duties assigned by management. * Assist with meeting departmental KPIs and key performance metrics. * Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
