Participation is permitted during the normal fall, spring and summer semesters of the college school year. The Dual Enrollment Administrative Specialist will join a team responsible for the coordination and management of the Dual Enrollment population at Georgia State University, with an average population of over 2,000 students per year. The Dual Enrollment Administrative Specialist will assist students and parents through recruitment, admissions and funding application processes, orientation, and registration. This position will also assist in communication with high school administrators and guidance departments to ensure seamless communication between Georgia State University and our senior high school partners. Essential position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Coordinate various Dual Enrollment programs, events, and services on the Georgia State University campuses as well as the partnering high schools. 2. Serve as liaison with University departments to assure successful admissions, enrollment, advisement, registration, orientation of Dual Enrollment new students. 3. Monitor program registration, participant performance, and other details required by the program regulations to ensure compliance 4. Serve as a liaison between high school faculty, staff, administrators, and Georgia State University Dual Enrollment; facilitates Dual Enrollment information sessions, student orientations, as well as attends other school, college, community, and partner meetings to promote the Dual Enrollment Program. 5. Performs a variety of administrative and data management duties in support of the Dual Enrollment Program, including collection of data; maintaining documentation files; writing and formatting a variety of correspondence, reports, procedures, and presentations related to the Dual Enrollment Program; and developing outreach materials, including newsletters and social media sites. Job Summary Provides additional support to Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program during key times of high volume and demand. Assists with preparation for training sessions, including deliverable creation and resource management. Additionally, assists with execution of SI sessions, including program oversight and troubleshooting. Offers administrative and technical support for the Supplemental Instruction and Learning Assistants office as needed. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists with the preparation process for office programs, including creating deliverables (such as participant nametags) and managing resources (such as technology, tablecloths, etc.) 2. Serves as an office representative at programs, providing excellent customer service to program participants, overseeing program activities, and troubleshooting issues that arise 3. Supports the student staff team as needed, including conducting feedback collection interviews with student staff members 4. Plans, coordinates, reviews, and generates reports for assessment efforts, as directed by the office 5. Develops and shares presentations on behalf of the office to internal and external clients 6. Supports related program planning meetings and student staff trainings 7. Liaison with internal and external clients supporting office programs 8. This position will serve as one of the primary administrative contacts for the school and will serve as the primary administrative contact for the Georgia Network for Electric Mobility (GNEM). This Administrative Associate position will support ECAM and GNEM via: * Support the School Chair and ECAM with general office duties, correspondences, special projects and GNEM activities. * Serve as the Admin Lead for staffing and for GNEM, including but not limited to, assisting the Engineering HR office with information needed for ECAM immigration requests and advertising faculty and staff positions externally on platforms to ensure a successful recruitment strategy. * Process basic financial transactions. Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities * Maintain office hours to assist County Extension Coordinator, county staff, and clientele by conducting day-to-day operations, such as: maintain appropriate records for fiscal reporting. * Prepare various accounting forms and exercise basic accounting responsibility in reconciling local Extension budgets and keep financial records current within existing month in a manner that corresponds with the standard for all University of Georgia Cooperative Extension offices. * Maintains office filing system. * Coordinate office tasks with other county staff as necessary.
