Production Management Engineers - Lead people, process, and input/product in a mining environment. They will be involved in day-to-day direct supervision of operators and production activities and participate in daily production management meetings. Engineers will learn how to comprehend and handle all aspects of MSHA federal regulations and compliance programs including environmental, health, safety, maintenance, and housekeeping. Production Management Engineers typically develop teams of production employees within the first two years of their careers and have responsibility for hiring, scheduling, motivating, and handling employee relation issues. They will also be involved in process optimization, equipment, and process reliability, and may run capital projects. This position is located at our Milan Ohio facility Responsibilities OVERVIEW Seeking junior degreed engineer or science equivalent candidate with 1-4 years' experience in project organization, technical coordination and interface with project management and lead engineers to ensure technical deliverables are realized within cost and schedule. This is an onsite position requiring organized and proactive communication with all elements of the project. TYPICAL FUNCTIONS Adhere to all applicable Company, Customer and Industry safety standards and practices. Support of various team elements common in standard aerospace and/or facility projects including purchasing/procurement, fabrication, shipping/receiving, design and test engineering, project management and scheduling. Able to organize multiple tasks with various project leads/management to ensure schedule is maintained. Interface with project leads/management to support integrated master schedule task status updates. Assist in maintaining various project rosters and task registers as required. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics desired (from an ABET accredited college or university, or equivalent). Candidates with highly relevant experience will be considered without degree. Excellent verbal and written communication required. Should be a naturally analytical person and capable of working in both a team and solo environment. Knowledge of MS Office software required. Comfortable with multi-tasking, seeking solutions independently and strong organizational skills necessary.
