Rosenxt USA seeks to add a: Junior Geotechnical Engineer Location: Columbus Key Responsibilities Collect, process and interpret geotechnical and geospatial datasets for hazard analyses. Support geotechnical and geohazard assessments for critical infrastructure systems. Build and maintain basic data workflows and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and reproducibility. Collaborate with engineers, GIS specialists, data scientists and software developers in a multidisciplinary team environment. Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and data summaries for internal and external stakeholders. Stay current with best practices in geotechnical engineering and geohazard management to enhance project outcomes. Perform related duties as assigned in support of broader project goals. Essential Requirements B.S. degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geosciences. 1 - 3 years of applicable experience (including internship, research or project experience). Foundational knowledge of soil mechanics, and geotechnical engineering principles. Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS), geospatial data handling and data analysis tools (Python) Exposure to machine learning techniques and their applications in engineering. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Knowledge/Skills Master's in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Experience with remote sensing technologies for geohazard monitoring. Production Management Engineers typically develop teams of production employees within the first two years of their careers and have responsibility for hiring, scheduling, motivating, and handling employee relation issues.
