JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
$21-$32 per hour (depending on experience) + 10% night shift differential!
Schedule: Days 7am-7pm & Nights 7pm-7am (Rotation every 6 weeks)
The Plant Technician is responsible for the operation of all plant processing equipment and performing routine basic maintenance in a highly automated chemical facility. In the area of maintenance, Plant Technicians are responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, basic repair, and cleaning of all equipment associated with bioprocessing processes. At times, Plant Technicians may be asked to assist Maintenance Technicians in more technical and complex maintenance procedures. Team members in this position are required to maintain knowledge of the process flow, computerized equipment, and be aware of hazards associated with the process as well as understand and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs). Continuous plant operation requires 12-hour shift work. Plant Technicians must be able to adapt to 12-hour workdays and be able to meet call-in requirements as needed.
Use your knowledge to maintain and operate all processes associated with the plant where required.
Perform maintenance and basic repairs of plant equipment and document these activities.
Operate the DCS (Distributed Control System) for the plant.
Safely perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
Follow procedures for plant start-up, shut-down, cleaning, and batching.
Maintain accurate and timely logs.
Collect and test quality control samples, interpret QA/QC results and make adjustments to optimize plant operations, timely and accurately document results and enter results into our data collection system, PI.
Assist in removal, installation, rebuild, and performance of preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment associated with plant processes.
Help keep your plant clean by following the sanitation schedule and completing all tasks as assigned.
Notify the management team of safety, environmental, quality, and production concerns, problems, and opportunities.
Keep your plant safe by fostering a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance.
Maintain a team environment at all times and champion POET in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience requirements:
Plant Technician I: experience in a production environment preferred.
Plant Technician II: Documented successful performance as a Plant Technician I or equivalent work experience required.
Plant Technician III: Documented proficiency in the skills listed in the Plant Technician III Skills Checklist.
Working knowledge in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning is required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
Experience with software systems, such as Maximo, preferred.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to embrace change.
You have the ability to understand the technical and day-to-day operation of a bioprocessing facility.
You know the basics of Microsoft Office Suite. You're capable of learning new programs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements at all times and in all work environments. This position is exposed to work in multiple environments, including plant, laboratory, and office environments. You may be exposed to high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, internal and external temperature/weather conditions, and chemicals.
Due to the physical and safety-sensitive nature of this job, you will be subject to a physical and expected to pass a drug screen during the pre-screen process. During employment, you'll be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
This role has some physical requirements that our team members will need to be able to perform, such as:
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hazardous material suits, hearing protection, and harness.
Working at extreme heights (approximately 150 ft), in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures from -20 to +100 degrees Fahrenheit, both indoors and outdoors. Due to the nature of the work, the areas can be dusty at times.

Job Description
The Senior Regulatory Expert is a recognized thought leader and subject matter expert (SME) who is responsible for driving Assent's objective of being a market leading software and services solution for a wide variety of customers and industries. This role requires a highly knowledgeable and experienced regulatory and sustainability subject matter expert to lead the development of best practices, whilst constantly influencing existing solutions and identifying business opportunities for Assent to develop new products in response to the regulatory and sustainability outlook. Qualifications

Ensure that all work performed is completed by following all local electrical codes. Including 4160V, 480V, 220V, 110V, 24V DC and 4-20 mA loops and circuits as applicable to the location.
Troubleshoot PLC/DCS I/O including 4-20mA loops, 120V/24DC I/O.
Responsible for all preventative and proactive electrical maintenance and compliance procedures.
Assist with emergency and scheduled shutdowns while performing regular mechanical duties as directed.
Calibrate, configure, and repair of measurement/control instruments for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and pH including associated valves and valve actuators.

This position is largely self-directed and requires a thorough understanding of company policy, procedures, and values. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements at all times and in all work environments. This position is exposed to work in multiple environments, including plant, laboratory, as well as an office environment. The team member may be exposed to high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, internal and external temperature/weather conditions, and chemicals.
Due to the physical and safety sensitive nature of this job, you will be subject to a physical and expected to pass a drug screen during the pre-screen process. During employment, you'll be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Specific physical requirements may include:
Occasionally lifting weight up to sixty (60) pounds.
Climbing several flights of stairs and ladders.
Opening valves.
Occasionally bending, twisting and turning while lifting weight of less than fifty (50) pounds.
Data entry while seated for greater than one (1) hour.
Walking up to two (2) or more miles per day.
Pushing brooms, shovels, etc.
Working at heights, in confined spaces and at temperatures from -20 to +100 degrees.
Standing for extended periods of time.
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Using hand and power tools.
The compensation for this position is competitive and will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. While the wage range listed is between $34 to $38 per hour, the final wage offered will be determined by the successful candidate's skills, expertise, and relevant experience.

Position Overview & Responsibilities: The Environmental Specialist is responsible for coordinating companywide environmental compliance and executing nutrient management functions. What You Will Do:
Assist in managing regular compliance tasks and environmental initiatives relating to air, manure, and water monitoring and reporting.
Assist in coordination and support of site permitting by preparing necessary submittals and representing the company in the permitting process
Assist in the evaluation of the feasibility of environmental projects, project design, proposal writing and defining project schedules.
Ensure quality control, recordkeeping, environmental compliance, and coordination of custom applicators.
Ensure the nutrient management program is executed, including maintaining manure storage capacity, on farm engagement, manure cooperator and custom applicator relationship management.

Promote the agronomic value of manure nutrients, manage field acres to optimize nutrient utilization, and crop scouting for fertility tracking.

What You Offer Us:
Minimum of one to four years of agri-business employment with strong environmental, conservation, or agronomy background and customer service experience.
Minimum formal education required: A.A., B.S. in Environmental Management, Agronomy, Soil Science, or other related.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to influence others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly intelligent with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work in a collaborative environment, be willing to push the difficult issues and have a strong desire to understand the business.
