The Grocery Clerk is responsible for performing duties as directed by the Grocery Manager and/or Assistant Grocery Manager (3rd Man) for the successful operation of the Grocery Department. It is essential that as a Grocery Clerk, you will present yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times while performing your defined responsibilities. You are responsible for always maintaining our high standards of Customer Service. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager for the successful operation of the Maintenance Department. Cash Analyst perform different functions in ensuring proper and accurate reconciliation of an organization's actual bank balance with cash amounts in the ledger. Responsibilities: * Reconciling bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with finical regulations. * Reconcile cash and credit cards, etc. for ten (10) stores on a weekly basis utilizing large excel files. * Investigating variances and discrepancies in financial data. * Prepare detailed reconciliation reports timely and accurately. * Record Manual Checks, ACH payments and Wire transactions timely. * Performing month-end close activities * Tracking and collections of NSF Checks * Credit Card Charge Back submission and tracking. * Back up to Accounts Payable * Fixed Asset Tracking and Reconciliation Qualifications * Strong analytical capabilities - Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. * Working knowledge of financial system Oracle would be an advantage. * Ability to work autonomously and as a team player. * Advanced knowledge of excel, able to work with large excel files to reconcile cash with various formulas. * High Attention to detail while working with large quantities of data. * Strong understanding of accounting principles, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. * Strong organizational and time-management abilities. The Store Closing Manager is responsible for performing duties as directed by the Store Manager for the successful operation of their designated store. The Store Closing Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure that all Gerrity's Supermarkets customers are provided with the highest quality products along with the highest in customer service. The ideal candidate has 2- 5 years of progressively experience in the grocery, retail, or food service industry. Other Essential Duties Include: * Direct, maintain and enforce overall department and employee cooperation with the specific objective of complying with the General Mission Statement of Gerrity's Supermarket * Maintain consistent and direct communication with Store Management on a day to day basis; * Maintain a regular physical presence in each department to monitor, control and eliminate customer service and/or employee issues; * Maintain a competent knowledge of all department policies/procedures; * Monitor and walk departments reviewing overall sanitation, general presentation, product stock levels and that sale items are available; * Walk thru each department with the last person leaving; * Monitor outside conditions, cleanliness and weather related; * Maintain presence on front end the last 15-20 minutes the store is open; * Fill out closing manager walk checklist on a daily basis and review with store manager areas in need of attention; * All doors sealed and locked, safe locked, alarms set; * Monitor and direct employees as required to manage outside shopping carts to ensure availability for customer use; * Monitor and maintain building parameter and parking areas overall sanitation; * Communicate any maintenance issues to Store Manager; * Maintain and monitor overall store security in order to limit or prevent customer or employee theft including checking employees bags when leaving after store close;

The Receiver is responsible for performing duties as directed by the Grocery Manager and/or Assistant Grocery Manager (3rd Man) for the successful operation of the Grocery Department. The Bakery Manager is responsible for performing duties as directed by the Bakery Supervisor and Store Manager. for the successful operation of the Bakery Department.
