Administration/Curriculum Directors The K-12 Numeracy Coach is a certified released math teacher who works to develop future mathematics leaders by supporting teachers of mathematics in the areas of curriculum, assessment, and instruction and by fostering an environment of collaboration, reflection, and professional growth. This role reports to Director of Numeracy. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a math specialist to assist in the development and implementation of instructional plans that align to network goals and curriculum. Collaborate with Director of Numeracy and school leaders to design and provide professional development focused on improving alignment and delivery of curriculum to increase student success and close performance gaps. Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to analyze student data, diagnose instructional needs, and identify research-based instructional strategies to close achievement gaps. Administration/Dean Description: The Dean is a school-based administrative position and is a member of the school's leadership team. Deans work closely with the school's principal to implement, model, develop, and improve the overall instructional program of the school. Deans are school level leaders who serve as site-based technology support for teachers and scholars. School level leadership responsibilities include all aspects of monitoring, assessing, and guidance of overall academic and enrichment programs offered by the school. Deans support all facets of the cultural and operational expectations as outlined by Gestalt Community Schools. Deans work closely with teachers to guide the implementation of the school's instruction model, curriculum and instructional support services. Administration/Curriculum Directors The Curriculum and Assessment Manager provides leadership in maintaining and evaluating high quality curriculum and resources and in the implementation of network assessment activities. This role reports to the Managing Director of Teacher Development (MDOT). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Curriculum Work with curriculum vendors and partners to support the adoption, training and technical support for the network's K-12 print and digital curriculum and Response to Intervention programs. Coordinate development and maintenance of all network curriculum maps, materials and publications. The dean executes and monitors scholar recruitment and admissions. In addition, the dean develops the summer orientation program for our scholars. Monitor teacher call logs to ensure they are happening, the content of calls is substantive (positive and constructive updates are shared), and potential attrition families are flagged. About the Position Power Center Academy Elementary School is seeking an elementary level academic literacy and numeracy interventionist(s) with the ability to direct the academic program activities of K-1 scholars. The ideal candidate(s) will be knowledgeable in the following areas: · Intervention strategies necessary to support scholar academic success, in accordance with Title I. · Experience with the development of differentiated academic exercises and class activities. · Will support numeracy instruction by working with small groups, using digital and print resources, and making decisions based on data.
