    Long Description Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. Key Responsibilities * Follow Standardized Work Instructions. * Mechanical maintenance of large stamping presses and feed line equipment. * Plumbing basic repair, replace drains, run pipe threader. * Maintenance of air compressors and air driers. * Conveyor systems air, electric and vibro units. * Hydraulic pumps, trash pumps, oil pumps. * Welding arc, mig tig and spot basic knowledge. * Manlifts, ladders, roof work, and outside work. * Must follow all OSHA and plant safety rules including lock-out tag-out, etc. * Rebuilding of cylinders and pumps of all kinds. * Fabricating of scrap trays, chutes, and work benches. * Supports the teams in operational improvement. * Develops Initial Standard Work Practices with the teams. * Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance and repairs of production equipment during machine service. * Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. * Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. * Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. * Any other duties deemed necessary or appropriate. Knowledge and Education * HS diploma/GED + advanced technical training in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs. * Prefer USDOL Journeyman's certificate or equivalent work experience or skills training. * 5 years previous employment in a manufacturing environment - automotive preferred. Key Qualifications/Requirements * Must be able to drive forklift and maintain certification. * Must be able to work at heights, working on overhead cranes, repairing ceiling lights, parking lot lights and able to work in tunnels and pits. * Must have strength and stamina to lift and maneuver heavy objects. * Electrical 12-volt dc to 600-volt ac basic working knowledge. * Basic carpenter skills, painting, repair drywall, ceiling work, building offices. * Problem Solving - Recognize and solve the malfunctioning of the machine and recognize and solve quality problems of formed part.     Long Description The Assembly Controls Technician will provide support, leadership and direction to the Maintenance Technicians and perform Controls function for the Assembly Department. The Assembly Controls Technician will support and carry out the assignments and responsibilities given them by the Controls & Robotics Engineering Manager or his/her designees, and you shall devote your full time, skill and attention to the business of the Company. Key Responsibilities * Work with minimal supervision and work well in a team. * Support Manufacturing Engineering in the development of standards and specifications, including a complete purchase parts list related to controls systems. * Plan and implement improvements within the Assembly Department related to the specific controls systems. * Provide technical support to Assembly and Laser departments for resolving controls related issues. * Support the Assembly and Laser Technical Training and Development program by conducting training classes, providing technical documentation, etc. * Identify training needs for Maintenance Technicians. Provide requirements to Maintenance supervisors and training department. * Provide leadership and direction during equipment downtime situations. Knowledge and Education * BS: Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or other technical discipline plus 3 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required. * AS: Electronics Technology plus 5 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required. * 7+ years experience and training in a similar role and environment. Key Qualifications/Requirements * High skill set with PC and communication skills. * Strong proficiency with PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley), Pilz Safety PLC's, A-B Servo Drive systems. * Robotic Systems a plus (Fanuc or ABB). * Minimum 5 years of experience in robotic-PLC debugging/programming position. Job Summary: Ensure compliance, maintenance, and continual improvement to the ISO14001 Environmental Management System, Occupational Health & Safety Management System and applicable legal requirements. Provide support to Human Resources Manager with health and safety requirements. Major Accountabilities: * Assists Human Resources Manager with planning, directing and administering environmental, health and safety programs; * Provides coaching and training to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies OSHA, TOSHA and EPA; * Administers Workers' Compensation program; * Serves as ISO14001 site representative and champion of safety teams; * Assists in identification, analysis, control and elimination of occupational hazards; * Creates and maintains a proactive safety culture through the establishment of safe work practices and employee engagement; * Conducts accident and incident investigations; * Develops and provides regular safety training, safety information and open communication concerning environmental, health and safety issues. * Maintains OSHA Logs, safety training records and documentation regarding safety and environmental audits and inspections * Authority to shut down production due to safety issues Qualification: * Bachelor's Degree Preferred; High School diploma with experience considered. * Minimum of three years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of OSHA and TOSHA General Industry Standards; * Ability to maintain confidentiality; * Computer and spreadsheet proficiency; * Good communicator ability to listen to others and clearly present information and requests; * Service Oriented anticipates and works to meet the needs of internal and external customers; * Thorough does not assume that things are being done correctly and completely, takes steps to ensure correctness and completeness; * Relationship builder recognizes the importance of positive relationships between and within departments and will continually and intentionally work to develop and sustain positive relationships. * Knowledge of IATF 16949; Knowledge of ISO 14001: 2015 * Knowledge of any applicable customer specific requirements * Bilingual English Spanish would be an asset.
