Coordinates and provides professional medical care for BMG patients by:
* Assessing the patients' medical history and performing physical examinations, as appropriate for scope of service of a physicianassistant.
* Evaluating and treating injuries within scope of practice for a physicianassistant.
* Administering medications and injections, as prescribed.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care Delivery
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.

* Perform procedures such as central and arterial line insertions, chest tube placements, and wound suturing.
* Provide surgical first-assist duties in trauma and emergency general surgery cases.
* Manage pre- and post-operative care and follow-up in trauma clinic.

* Respond to trauma activations and assist in critical resuscitation efforts.
Care Coordination & Collaboration

Education and Experience
* The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of Bachelor's or Master's degree and the completion of an accredited program for PhysicianAssistants, current Indiana license and certification as a PhysicianAssistant.
