    Daniel Johnson (Dan)
    Mortenson

    Mr. Johnson is President of Mortenson Construction, a family-owned construction company that provides general contracting, development, and program management services throughout North America with $3.7 billion in annual revenues and over 5,000 employees. Before assuming his current role as President in January 2015, Mr. Johnson served as Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to December 2014, and prior to that, held various leadership and managerial positions since joining Mortenson Construction in 1986. Mr. Johnson has been a director of Fastenal since May 2016 and is a member of our audit committee.

    Mike Hoover became President of Sundt in 2015, and CEO in 2016. Prior to that Mike managed the company’s Heavy Civil, Mining & Industrial and Concrete groups and oversaw Sundt’s safety/quality operations. He is active on several industry boards of directors, among them: Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT); Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL) Board of Directors; The Beavers, past President, current Board of Directors; Council On Competitiveness, Member and National Commissioner; Construction Industry Safety Initiative (CISI); Associated General Contractors (AGC) Past Chairman, life Director; University of Arizona Foundation, National Leadership Council Member; The Road Information Program (TRIP). He began his career with Sundt as a laborer in 1978.
