Ralf Wintergerst is Chairman of the Management Board of Giesecke+Devrient (G+D). In addition to his duties as CEO, he is responsible for the Central Services departments of Information Systems, Corporate Security, Compliance Management and Auditing, Corporate Communications, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Legal Services and Corporate Governance. Wintergerst joined G+D in 1998 as Director of International Subsidiaries in the Cards and Services business. Between 1999 and 2005 he held various management positions in the division Currency Management Solutions, ultimately heading it from 2006 on. As Group Executive of the business unit Banknote Wintergerst has been a member of the Giesecke+Devrient Management Board since 2013. In November 2016 he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board. Furthermore to his role at G+D, Wintergerst is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of secunet Security Networks AG. In addition, he holds various positions related to IT security issues, including member of the advisory board of the Cyber Defense research institute of the Bundeswehr University in Munich and co-chair of the Digital Summit Platform ''Security, Protection and Trust'' of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Ralf Wintergerst studied Business Administration and holds a Master´s Degree in Management as well as in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

Martina Seidl is a Chief Legal and Compliace Officer, Group Vice President at Giesecke+Devrient and is based in München, Bayern, Germany. She has worked as Mitglied des Aufsichtsrates at Fujitsu Technology Solutions; Associate General Counsel at Fujitsu Technology Solutions; and General Counsel, Vice President Legal & Commercial CE at Fujitsu. Martina works or has worked as Geschäftsführerin at FTS Intellectual Property GmbH. She attended London Business School between 2017 and 2017; Lund University between 2017 and 2017; and Ludwig Maximilian Universitätn München, Universität München, LMU München.

Dr. Peter Zattler is a Member of the Management Board at Giesecke+Devrient since July 1, 2001. As Chief Financial Officer, he is in charge of the areas of Controlling, Treasury, Business Accounting, and Taxes. Since January 1, 2006, Zattler has also been responsible for Human Resources.

From 1984 to 1986, Dr. Zattler worked in the Auditing department at Arthur Andersen. After earning his doctorate from the University of St. Gallen, Zattler was hired by Daimler Benz Group in 1988, where he held various management positions within the group’s financial function. He moved to debis AG in Berlin in 1991 and then took up his role at Debitel GmbH & Co. KG in Stuttgart in 1993.

From 1998 until he joined Giesecke+Devrient, Zattler was CFO of MCC smart within the Mercedes Car Group.

Technical generalist with leading experience in building modern customer-centric products and platforms for startups and enterprises, bootstrapping high-risk ventures and enabling enterprises to iterate and innovate at faster speeds in web2-|3 era.

Today, leading the product and tech aspects of Central Bank Digital Currency initiative at G+D.

Following my thesis on a white-collar crime subject, I joined the compliance and dispute resolution practice of the international magic circle lawfirm Linklaters LLP advising major global players and national champions on compliance and D&O liability.

In 2016 I joined G+D Mobile Security as Chief Compliance Officer to support the growth and digital transition of one of the industry leaders in the fields of eSIM, digital payment, IoT and connected car.

As part of my daily cooperation with various departments, the executive board and more than 20 local compliance officers all over the world, I adopt a risk-based approach of enabling buisness along with mitigating major risks.
