The cause is noble.
People of color were overlooked, mistreated and terminated when up for promotion. There is a long history in almost every department.
The Summer Event
I don't know the current CEO, however some of the VP's and Executive VP's are snakes from the last Administration.
Get rid of VP of Hospital Relations. She is why there is so much turn-over in that department. You are only "good" if she can take credit for it. Executive VP of Community Engagement is the ultimate flunky. She has shuck and jived her way to that position. She's a bad apple.
Having the years of experience and credentials is all they look at. The ability to speak and write well is a bonus. Understand what and how Gift of Hope does what they do.
I reach the top of my pay scale and they didn't want to promote me because of my race. So I was terminated.
There will ALWAYS be the "good ol boys" running everything. Look at how "white" it is. BOD placed a black man at the top and a few shyster women in Executive positions for show.
I did a lot of education working with hospital staff during a case. It was amazing to see them "get" what we do and jump in to make sure all goes according to SOP.
