Responsibilities
* Supports all safety efforts on the project and promotes the Gilbane Cares safety culture
* Ensures contractor activities are preplanned for safety through scope review, preconstruction meetings, JHA review, STAs, etc.
* Ensures contractors meet Gilbane safety submittal requirements
* Ensures contractor compliance with Gilbane safety plan & expectations
* Maintains all safety related documentation
* Makes recommendations concerning situations hazardous to employee safety or health
* Utilizes SafetyNet to Audit and monitor project team implementation of the Safety Plan
* Performs at least 15 SafetyNet inspections per month with at least 100 observations in each inspection
* Provides and analyzes SafetyNet trending reports with project team and develops action plans
* Coaches project team in effective hazard identification and correction of issues using SafetyNet
* Investigates all accidents/near misses and complete all paperwork required
* Ensures project teams have safety equipment and resources
* Serves as project liaison and manages project correspondence with Insurance carriers
* Provides safety training to project teams on Gilbane, client, and OSHA requirements
* Trains direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks
* Manages workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards
* Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
* Aids in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Management or Engineering preferred
* 4-5 years of construction safety management experience
* ASP, CSP, CHST, or CIH credential required
* Certified and authorized instructor by GU and OSHA to teach safety courses to employees and contractors
* Or equivalent combination of education and experience

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Quality Control Manager to join our team on our Ferguson Project located in El Portal near Yosemite National Park.
Myers and Sons received a contract to restore full highway access to State Route 140 on the existing alignment that has been blocked by a rockslide that occurred in 2006. The project will consist of building the Rockshed structure, which will be a reinforced concrete box structure supported on concrete piles and anchored to tie backs into the canyon wall.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Safety and Health Program that meets or exceeds corporate minimum requirements.
- Create, communicate, and identify opportunities for improvements in Corporate Safety Program.
- Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate all Subcontractors Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings acting as a resource for field operations with compliance on Federal (OSHA) and state as well as local safety and health regulations.
- Maintain all administrative tasks related to project specific safety documentation/recordkeeping system, including OSHA reports, management reports, training, etc.
- Conduct regularly scheduled site evaluations, follow up and tracking of corrections to deficiencies
- Attend superintendent meetings and monitor Toolbox Talks/Discussions to ensure documentation and quality
- Perform root cause and accident investigation techniques in the event of a job site accident - including collection of safety and health standard incident reporting forms and documentation working closely with local and Risk Management
- Ability to conduct in-house training on various health and safety related topics.
- Assist with OSHA inspections, compliance reviews, insurance provider reviews/audits, and other federal, state, or local agency reviews/inquiries.

Job Summary
The Project Lead is the “voice of the customer” in our Oldcastle Infrastructure (OI) facilities. The Project Lead is responsible for the customer experience from the point of sale to on-site delivery. To achieve OI's goal to enhance “ease of doing business,” a role to represent the customer's voice in our facilities has been developed to ensure 100% customer satisfaction on ALL sales orders. Once an opportunity becomes a sales order, the Project Lead drives all activities from the point of sale to on-site delivery including coordinating with engineering, approval of submittals, scheduling with production and on-site delivery with the customer and transportation.
The Project Lead acts as the main point of contact for customers and vendors on assigned sales orders and is directly responsible for monitoring the project costs and compliance with contract documents, attending job meetings and balancing the customer and OI interests throughout the entire process.

Job Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is being the “voice of the customer” in OI facilities
Responsible for managing multiple sales orders concurrently
Upon sales order assignment by the C.O.M, share responsibility with the O.S.R and Est. to hold a Turnover/Kick Off meeting at the point of sale to ensure all needed information and paperwork are complete; that the scope of work is clear; review the estimate and confirm values for all items; and begins the process of scheduling the project with production to align with “Customer Ship Date” in AX
From point of sales order assignment, the P.L. becomes the point of contact for the customer. They must ensure the customer is kept up-to-date from production schedule to on-site delivery
Provide direction and oversight to all aspects of the project team; engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement and accounting
Prepare any applicable change order proposals in a timely manner, whether owner/ client/ engineer request or by generation from OI
Monitors the progress and status from the point of sales as it moves through the process, and acts to problem solve proactively, offers technical advice, and assists other staff to expedite assigned projects, removes obstacles which may cause a project to fall behind schedule
Ensures a mentality of continuous improvement of processes and systems
If needed, coordinate site visits and work with the customer to ensure that all issues that arise from the point of sale to completion of the project are resolved promptly, including but not limited to change orders, adjustments to schedule and collect information as appropriate to each assigned project. Identify and requisition special purchase items as required
Managing the required submittals/approvals with customer as required
Communicate with the Transportation department on the initial delivery needs of the customer and follow up when required
Working with other project managers and the plant manager to manage the long-term schedule to minimize conflicts with operational restrictions
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
3+ years Project Management experience
Demonstrated ability to manage several large to small, complex projects simultaneously
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Ability to review and work from production schematics and engineering drawings
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience within the construction or precast concrete industry is a plus
