During this program, you will contribute to Amgen's mission to ensure the safety and quality of life-saving medicines by applying computational and regulatory toxicology to evaluate potential mutagenic and safety risks of chemicals during all phases of drug development. * Support in silico mutagenicity assessments (QSAR) of pharmaceutical impurities and chemicals in alignment with ICH M7 guidelines. * Assist in evaluating and classifying impurities according to ICH Q3A and Q3B requirements. * Curate, organize, and analyze chemical structure data using computational toxicology tools and predictive models. * Collaborate with cross-functional scientists in toxicology, chemistry, and quality to ensure compliance with global regulatory expectations. * Document assessments and prepare technical summaries to support regulatory submissions. * Contribute to process improvement by exploring automation or AI/ML approaches to streamline chemical and impurity, documentation, and processes.
